Here are the enhancements that I have for my 18/2 Pali/Monk. He's meant to have high AC and high DPS. I change my enhancements frequently.

The Enhancements that I have are as follows:

Elven Dex 1-2 (for AC)
Unyielding Sovereignty (needed for KoTC)
Follower of the Sovereign Host (needed for KoTC)
Disciple of breezes (I use the handwraps on portals)
Courage of Good 1-2 (needed for KoTC)
Bulwark 1-4 (for AC)
Resistance of good 1-2 (Good enough to still have awesome saves)
Divine Righteousness (good for pulling aggro of barbs and rangers)
Divine Sacrifice 1-2 (Little Extra dps)
Exalted Smite 1-3 (I dont see an active difference in using ES4)
LoH 1-2 (3 totaly LoH's is usually sufficient considering UMD)
Extra Smite 1-4 (needed for Exalted smite 3)
Knight of the Chalice 1-3 (for dps)
Racial Toughness 1-2 (for HP)
Energy of the Templar (needed for KoTC)
Pali Charisma 1
Pali Toughness 1-3 (for HP)
Divine Might 1-3 (for dps)

You didnt take any of the drow rapier enhancments? I would think the +damage ones would be worth taking, is it because lack of points?

(assuming you use rapiers =) )

Also at what level would you suggest taking the 2 levels in monk?

Yeah I had over 70+ views on my thread jsut a couple days ago and not a single post. Funny thing too was I even gave some shout outs to several people thanked them for all their input and knowledge in these posts and didn't get a single reply boo hoo :*(

Anyway I rolled the same thing 18 paly/2 monk TWF Drow. I went with 16/16/12/10/8/16, but I'm wondering if I did that wrong since monks require higher WIS for their AC? Should I have switched INT and WIS around instead or shaved off a couple points in DEX and put them into WIS?

I'm also in a bit of a quandary myself about when to take the 2nd level of monk. I've read somewhere in the posts that someone took their 1st & 2nd levels of monk at levels 7 & 8. I don't know their reason or what benefit that gives you taking monk at those levels. I'm only at level 2 right now so if I have to, I have no problem rerolling. ADVICE???

This thread may answer a bunch of your questions

No, My current build uses kopeshs, but I wish I would have used Rapiers.

Yes, Higher Wisdom does increase your armor class.

Higher Wisdom does increase your armor class.

...as long as you aren't wearing armor, or a shield. Which means using an AC robe or bracers (denying chaosgardes), and no shield.

To make up for not having a +5 heavy shield, you need a 24 wisdom.

The OP Said he was going twf thereby implying he wasn't going to use a shield, thats how I arrived at my answer =)

Btw: dex, wis, and a shield wand(If you have UMD) can all compensate for not carrying a shield in your hand.

Hey Assio, thanks for the link. Do you think I'm screwed in my WIS AC since I went the 16/16/12/10/8/16 stat base? I don't have any +2 tomes at this time, but hopefully I will end up with some.

Also, are there any additional benefits with taking your 2 levels of monk at 9&10? I'm only at level 2 right now. 1st level monk/ 2nd level paly. I planned on taking my other monk at about lvl 7 or 8 (don't ask why cuz I don't know). Should I just reroll since I'm still fairly early in it and go with your stats?

Starting stats:
----------------------
Str 14 +2 tome +6 item = 22
Dex 16 +2 tome +6 item +2 Elf +4 Stat +2 Exceptional = 32
Con 10 +2 tome + 6 item +2 Exceptional= 20
Int 10 (+3 tome =13 for combat Expertise)
Wis 14 +2 tome +6 item = 22
Cha 16 +2 tome +2 Paladin +6 item +1 Stat +1 Exceptional = 28

Str 22: Useful enough to incite damage
Dex 32: with a base dex of 16, you take +1 tome for itwf/gtwf, Max dex gives great AC
Con 20: good enough to give you 400+HP with endgame gear
Int 10: base gives you the option to eat a +3 int tome later and get combat expertise
Wis 22: Cast level 4 Palidan spells, extra monk ac, extra SP
Cha 28: Increased Smite/loh/saves
----------------------
**Level 4, 8, 12, 16 Stat point into Dex
**Level 20 Stat point into Cha

One of the great aspects of this game is personal preference.

Main Reason is because Improved Critical: Piercing requires an 8 BAB to take it at level 9, so that satisfies that. Another reason, I took my monk levels at 9 and 10 because Palidans get their level 2 spells at level 8. I'm a HUGE fan of Elemental Resistances. Most low level stuff only hits for 20ish or less damage. A 20 pt resist negates alot of that. On the other hand, so does evasion. Either way, you'll have 20 pt resists and evasion by the time you get to gianthold.

Regarding the wisdom AC: You're only level 2, it takes like an hour or less to get from lvl 1 to lvl 2. If it was me, I'd reroll even though you wont see the benefit until you take the monk levels and your wisdom starts to matter wearing robes. It also removes my temptation to wear robes at low level instead of armor. With AC, usually armor(with Sword N Board) wins out at lower level.
