This build is designed purely to support a party of Warforged. Should be able to handle trapfinding / disabling as well provide Bard song including the Damage Resistance song. Wizard 11 allows most of the Repair spells to include Reconstruct.

Feedback appreciated!

WF support nice idea with a static group.Few things you might consider.

Why 6 lvls bard for warchanter? dr5 song for 2 mins you be better off casting stoneskin. Spellsinger would make more sense as you would net 100 sps more and 2 to umd also.

You have no way to rez that i can see with 20 umd also no use repairing WF with cure lt mod repair em instead. You have mental toughness so i think that covers spellsinger pre reqs.Drop the wep feat for umd skill focus. Drop Str to 10 add 2 Charisma for net gain of 6 to umd. That give you base of 26 add 4 from gh, 2 from hogf,3 from cartouche and 1 from focus chant. Presto you have 36 umd no fail rez scroll.

Like the idea you got here looks like it be fun toon.

Best part of DDO is have fun

"Bards have more fun we can carry a tune or your soulstone" Wink Wink

AKA Bagpiper been barding on most servers since way back

Looks like solid advice. Good point on the DR5 song...

Not a bad concept for a static group. I would recomend you go with 1 rogue 8 bard 11 wizard though. You lose out on evasion, but you gain another inspire courage for level 8 bard.

This might be just what I was looking for.
I play with my son, and he just fell in love with a Warforged barbarian. I always run around in a support role for him.

Just curious, why would the support toon be warforged too? does this matter in the build? (I guess for self-repair from the wizard line spells?)

For the two of us, would this be the best choice build for me?

Brand new to game, looks a bit complex to learn the three different classes, but I love a challenge.

Also, for fun factor, would I start as bard or wiz?

The support character is best as a Warforged because of the self healing. Easier to support someone when you can keep youself up too. Though I suppose you could be a fleshy and take Cure spells with the Bard levels, but I wouldn't.

With the build you want to take Rogue at first level regardless of how you move throught the rest of the levels. If you don't do this you won't be able to maximize the skills needed to be an efficient rogue. I personally would start Rogue, then Wizard, then Bard, and go from there. Rogue has UMD as a skill as well as bard, so you will be able to keep that close to max as well if you have the skill points for it.

The options presented above are good ones (Rogue 3 / Bard 6 / Wizard 11 or Rogue 1 / Bard 8 / Wizard 11) and each has it's pros and cons. Personally I would go with the evasion version, but that is me, and Spell Song is definetly the way to go.
