He or she is not a developer, and does not bring to me any information I am interested into. If I am interested in promotions and sales, I'll let you know.
Make a Sales Tracker, instead, but don't pollute the tracker with ads.

Agreed.
There is already a sales & promotions tab on the right.

I for one like them there. 5 posts a week, not a problem & it's nice to not miss the good sales :)

From Facebook:
DDO Store RSS Feed now available!
Good. Now, people can subscribe to the feed if they want to be updated with DDO Store promotions and you can stop displaying posts in the dev tracker. Right? :)

Yep, I like them too. It's not like there's a blizzard of dev tracker posts to keep, er-, track of. If it's a QuarterMasterC post, you don't have to read it. I like hearing from all the behind-the-scenes folk...including what stuff goes on sale.

It would probably be easier for you to ignore all posts by QuarterMasterC than for the web guys to change the web-site to suit you...

Is it me or are they getting greedy with the EXPENSIVE items they are offering?
that bank slot extension is crazy! How much does the non VIP one cost anyway?

I don't know why anyone from the web team would be involved in something QuartermasterC can do himself in 5s.
PS: It's not "to suit Borror0" but rather "to suit all the ones who are uninterested in those ads".

QuarterMaster (that name always makes me think MasterBlaster) can set up a Sales Tracker on the web-site in 5 seconds?
Or did you mean remove himself from the dev tracker? But then what about "all the ones who are interested in those ads"?

See post #6 of this very thread.
EDIT: Also, what Turial said.

The one in red. We long ago learned that the devs have the ability to post and not have their stuff show up in the dev tracker. Tolero had some issues with that very feature early on which is how many people learned it existed....some may have known about it prior to that though.

I'm interested in the sales and changes in items. I prefer it to be tracked. It's better to get the news than to not get the news.

Then, I assume you have subscribed to the DDO Store RSS feeds and don't mind seeing those promotions being removed from the dev tracker, right?

I have no intention of subscribing to any RSS feeds, nor will I bother checking them regularly. I will however check the dev-tracker, and appreciate seeing the odd sale here and there, specially when they're actually good :p (Hint: Make storage bags bound to account again, even as a special only :))
Sorry, but with so few posts it IS easier for you to simply ignore them than for everyone else who likes it the way it is to have to install RSS readers and so on just to suit you.

If there is an RSS feeds, that means that there must be some web page, somewhere, that displays the information. Check that page or subscribe to the newsletter if you care about the sales. I don't, and I check the dev trackers for updates about the game, not for sales.
PS: you should not get an RSS feeds reader because it will suit me, you should get one because it will make your life much easier.

Consider this not only not signed, but /opposed. (Until the day when they start spamming sales I suppose)

Agreed.
My point about the sales was that game sale announcements are often linked with updates about the game (for instance, +2 tomes). Also, the status of a bound item that is for sale, and how it is bound (account or character, etc). These things are very pertinent to the game.
