I hit level seven earlier and got a bunch of new spells and I'm thinking about what different tactics to try rather than just the capture and release method. My main concern about different tactics is that because of our very limited mana pool, whatever I do has to be hyper efficient. Ideally what I do puts the least amount of stress on the healers and allows the DPS'ers to do their thing.
I haven't used it yet but I was thinking about either AOE snares or single target slows and firewall. So my first question is does something like a ice storm effect work with firewall or does the firewall negate the ice? I haven't looked at my entire level IV spell lineup yet but I think I saw a slow spell but it was single target? If it is single target than that is going to be too consumptive for dealing with large pack scenarios and cause me to fall back on charms instead of this combination I'm thinking about.
Or if you have an altogether different tactical method for this level range, I'd be interested in hearing it. I'm not concerned about solo because I have all the time in the world to learn what works there for me with new spells. I'm concerned about tactics that are solid winners while in a group.
