Arcane Archer

I have been very fond of the ranger and wizard so I wanted to try arcane archer maybe 18wiz/2rang or maybe 16wiz/2rang/2monk or 2 ranger a build would be great please

I know this is a multiclass build you want, but a pure ranger can be an arcane archer and get the higher bow attackspeed from the capstone >.> just letting it out there...

I suppose it depends on what you want. Do you want to fling magic and have a bow with endless arrows as a backup? or do you want to sling arrows with a few spells to help out...though it seems either way youll want MORE wizard for the higher caster levels on spells...but are arcane archer enhancements for ranger levels?

I think Arcane Archer is a level 9 prestige class for the elf, so you can use it then...

EDIT:

Arcane Archer: Available to Ranger class level 6 (or elf 9)
Grants conjure+1 arrows, True Strike(+20 to hit next arrow on target)
Arcane Archer: Imbue Force Arrow(Arrows get 1d6 Force and cant miss incorporeals)

Arcane Archer: Conjure +2 arrows
Available to level 11 Elf

Arcane Archer: Conjure +3 arrows
Available to level 14 Elf

Of course if you DO take straight ranger, you get the abilities earlier, Conjure +3 arrows is available to level 12 Ranger for example


so you wont be able to use the high end spells if you spend too much in ranger though...or does that give you enough spells?
