(Logical?) Quest progression?

Hello...I've been running alot of Market/House quests.
I know alot of people like to run them on Normal/Hard/Elite sequence for the XP, which is nice and I like to join if I have the free time (GF & kid aggro > DDO lol).

I put up a LFG and sometimes a general spam since I like to jump right in and play, but it seems that I'm doing the same quests over and over and get very little XP. I like helping people (I'm L7 Cleric still learning how to be a great healbot) but I want to GAIN XP not just help (sorry, hope that doesn't sound bad)...

So - Is there a place that I can figure out zones or some sort of logical quest progression? Not really sure what to do after Market & Houses...I am VIP so I cna go anywhere

A lot of players have a bit of trouble figuring out "where to go" at that level, as there are so many houses to go from. There're a lot of quests which are great for that level range, but a few in particular you may want to consider:

Delera's Series (Run this one first - great exp, and a trinket at the end with +5% exp. House J)
The Depths Series (All from the House D tavern)
Stormcleave Outpost
Red Willow Ruins

I missed Red Willow, but I think I must've ran Delera's up until -50% exp. If you can get an arcane with haste, firewall and hold undead, you'll have a blast.

you also may want to consider favor rewards berofe you decide what house to play in.

If you want extra bank = house K

If you want extended buffs/pendant of time= house P

If you want nice ammo= house D

If you want more buffs =house J

for faster city regen & later better heal pots.. silverflame favor outside caticomb

also WELCOME, if you want to do somthing for xp lvl 8 ish and up look for a commando and send a tell, ask for lizy

Ah, nearly forgot about that. The favor rewards can be very nice, and are well worth going for - in particular, I'd try to pick up the House K reward and House P buffs as soon as possible, and House D if you happen to use a bow/crossbow. Also, if you haven't already make sure you get the Coin Lord's first tier reward, it's free inventory space.

Ah, nearly forgot about that. I've done the Coin Lords for inventory space...I'm really not interested in additional bank space.
The House P & J quests (hehe PB&J lol) for buffs sounds great though...and I've not really done any catacombs stuff but that should be good.

Just to help out a newer player as to locations. ;)

i general favor grind at these levels becaus eyou will out level the quests you need the favor on by the time you get it. i skip house k cause von 1-6 elite one time at higher lvls = 150ish favor and 3 bank slots.

house d i run the depths to elite, sc/pit elite and greymoon/co6 elite and im completely done with house d.

for house p i run tangleroot elite (usually done around lvl 4 for the buffs) gwylans elite, tear of dahkan elite (house k favor but located in house p) simply cause great xp and some threnal, maybe one thru on normal and west side on elite to insure enough favor for pendant.

for house j i just run deleras elite and xorians cyphor, more than enough for first tier as the 2nd tier house j buffs = first tier house p buffs (go figure).

usually by the time i have accomplished all this i am well into gianthold/desert and soon to be vale. keep in mind that gianthold sucks for xp now and the desert/necroplis is much better place for pure leveling (undead is easier to kill than giants and u get way more xp per time investment now with the gianthold nerfs).

once you get 12 you can get shroud flagged, that alone should get u close to if not 13, from lvl 13 now is when i like to farm for my dragontouched which by itself usually gives a few levels if not 3 levels (3 eldrich runes = 1 tempest, 3 tempest runes = 1 sovereign and sorjek can die in a fire as i will never ever ever fight him again).

if you can't figure out what to do now then just raid!

Please dont overlook the outdoor area's . I just started doing those myself . My hubby hates them lol . I have three kids myself so grouping is hard for me during the day .

I just started my caster (wiz) and she has done a of course the newbie island to elite ..plus completed the outdoor area , then the harbor doing the ww area and the hills , all those harbor quest I mess with and then stk . I think I have a couple of house quest done but I've done all the outdoors my level and now I'm an 8 . I go grab Flower the hireling (dwarf cleric that likes to fight but will heal me lol ) and knock em out .

I find thats easier , I can jump and go grab the kids if I need to . Then in the evening when I'm free I can group with whoever and make extra points .

Maybe that will help you some .
