have you ever logged in and had less turbine points than you did a few days ago but you didn't spend any?? I had 1550 the other day. My VIP account expired, I logged in and now I have 1050.

Nope, always been pretty rock on my end. I would imagine you can call support and they can tell you if any where spent on your account recently.

The problem I have is that I dont know.....
THe biggest problem I have with the Turbine Point system is the non existant accounting system. I cant even tell you for certain that Ive receieved my months VIP Points ever. I dont want to record manually every transaction I make and check my points every time I log in to see what mysterious points I received or lost. I want a Statement that clearly Lists the points I've Purchased, the Points I've been awarded for Favor, the Points I've received via VIP monthly alowance and the Points I've Spent. THe fact that we dont have this is rediculous considering real money transactions are involved here.

Agreed 100%. Then again it's not surprising that Turbine's book keeping is a little shabby considering that they are being sued by Atari over accounting issues.

Well, they do send you detailed e-mails after every time you either:
Buy points with money
Use points to buy something.
The e-mail details what was purchased, when, and for how much money/points.
I think an in-game accounting report would be nice, but they do give you everything you need to track your account activity.

How about the problem with new favor not granting Turbine points?
You know, you get a nice little message in the mailbox because one of your new characters just got 100 favor. Says you were just granted additional TP....but you really aren't.
Bug or intentional?

Indeed you do get emails on these two things, however you do not get emails about any other TP you may get. These include TP/100 favor and TP/first time favor on server. I am not sure if VIPS receive email confirmation of their TP for subscribing or if any of the bonus TP's have had emails confirming their deposit for things like Beta testing.

I never received anemail statng that my 500 VIP Points were depositied to my account.
I never received an email detailing my initial allotment of points.
I'm not doubting the emails that I do indeed get. I'm frustrated by the ones I do NOT get.... The ones that do not exist.

Very odd.....On the servers I have it unlocked through favor it doesn't appear in the store for me....
At least it's unlocked across all servers now....

Are you sure about this? I seem to remember numerous people asking why the favor unlocked items still showed up in the store for them.

happened to me on my vip second account when it went premium. Turbine docked me 500pts. Needless to say I sent in a message via the help box, but with no reply in the last 3 days.

Didn't you know? You're not actually eligible for the points until the end of the time you paid for, and only if you continue to subscribe after that.
/sarcasm off
Seriously though ... as a for example here. My total points should be : 7299 (plus some more for first-time favor thresholds up to 1850 on Thelanis ... not sure how much more this is worth though).
3300 I purchased on the 2nd to final Lammania stress test night when it was 3300 for $25 or something similar to that.
1600 more I purchased during the second point sale that night when it was 400 points for $2 (I wish I'd spent all the money I spent that night during this second promotion, I would have gotten way more points. This was just the first indication of shady. Lots of people spent a big chunk earlier in the night and had less available funds for the real good deal for the night)
250 points for participating in the beta test
250 points for using the store during the beta test
400 points for being a veteran of less than one year (They say they gave this to me, I'm not so sure)
500 points for my subscription billed on 30SEP2009 (They won't give me points for the sub billed on 31AUG2009, even though that day the servers were down the entire day and so to me that's when DDO:EU started)
999 points for being a subscriber at the time they announced the pushback of the live date for DDO:EU
I already feel shafted about the fact that I've paid for 62 days of VIP (by any method of counting I know of, that's two months) and am only considered to be entitled to 500 points, which they still haven't credited to my account. Additionally, I should have some points for my server first favor thresholds on Thelanis where I have my first character who has like 1850 favor. I'm not precisely sure how many points this should be, but I think a few hundred is about right... if someone could weigh in that would rock.
So, let's start at the number I know for sure I should have, without account for any points from favor.
My current in game points amount is : 1880
According to the points spent log in game, which tracks when I spend points and how much, I've spent the following:
09/13/09 -- 945 points (3x major experience elixir (6 hours 20% boost) and 3x medium jewel of fotune(5 uses each))
09/13/09 -- 250 points - 10x Concentrated Elixir of Major Mnemonic Enhancement
09/19/09 -- 150 points - Pirate hat
And that's all it lists. I know I spent more going back to 09/01/09, and those purchases used to show up in game on the account history page. Now they don't. So, going into my e-mail account to look at all purchases made ...
Pirate Bandana - Scallywag's Cap 150.0 Points 1 150.0 Points
One Additional Character Slot
595.0 Points 1 595.0 Points
Favored Soul Class
596.0 Points 1 596.0 Points
And that's it ... I know that I purchased 2x Huge Collectible's bags. I also purchased a handful of experience potions and loot gems not listed above. But I cannot find e-mails for those items... so I cannot accurately say what my total spent points is.
Huge Collectible's bag I believe were 525 points each. So that's 1050 total points for the two that I purchased.
I believe I also purchased three of the six hour 20% experience elixir's that aren't listed in my history. They were 295 points each for 885 more points spent. And I purchased one more medium jewel of fortune at 125 points.
So, I think my total spent is 4596 points. The fact that I cannot access any accounting to show what I've spent is pretty bad. And the fact that some transactions generated e-mails to me and some did not is also pretty crappy. I know the system was probably under a lot of load but still. Just keep the entire log of what I earn and spend available to me and then there's no wondering.
So anyway ... 7299 - 1880 = 5419
5419 - 4596 = 823
There are 823 unaccounted for points on my account. And that's not counting favor points. Adding favor points in, there's even more than that. I'm probably over 1000 points that should be on my account but are not.
I know they didn't give me the 500 points for my subscription that billed on 30SEP2009, because I've been watching closely for them. I contend that they didn't give me the 400 points for being a veteran subscriber of less than one year, but in their reply to my support ticket (which took them 23 days to reply), they said that they did and closed the matter. I have no appeal.
It's quite possible I purchased a couple things on the ddo store that I don't remember purchasing that could account for some missing points, but not enough things to account for at a bare minimum 323 missing points. The math just doesn't add up any way other than Turbine has shorted me points.
But I can't prove it because they won't share my history with me.

a few days ago I had 1550 turbine points on my account. I didn't log on for a few days and my "VIP" subscription ended. When I logged on, my account became a "premium" and I had 1050 turbine points. I know its not just me doing wrong calculations because I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT ANYTHING FROM THE STORE!!

This worries me.
I have been saving points and grinding for when the time is right to go Premium.
Problem is, I don't want to lose any TPs because the ONLY reason to go Premium is to spend those points on content.

I'd swear I had less recently. And I think it was the magic 500.
I've also earned favor points that don't seem to have showed up.
Although most of the time they show up eventually.
Anyway, pretty sure I'm missing at least the randomly appearing 500.
Plus my account just renewed for the year. And no monthly(yearly?) points yet. :(

I noticed this problem on the 7th and promptly sent tubine a support ticket. It's now the 13th and still no response. I feel I would be a complete fool to spend any more money on this game, if Turbine points have a tendency to "disappear"'. Thats not much different that just throwing money away.

Got the following response from Victorie 'Customer Service Representative'
"Check your emails, and the store for recent purchases. Generally points are "lost" because they are spent. After reviewing your logs, if you believe that you have lost points, please contact the Account Management department."
I have been told that Accounts Management department have a 2 week backlog to get through, so Im still waiting on a reply from them regarding the issue.

It might be a glitch in system where instead of canceling the next recurring payment, it cancels remainder of current one, in process taking away 500 TP for the month.

Yep.
500 points disappeared for me as well once I jumped from VIP to premium.
Of course I think I am missing more than that from a previous discrepancy. The points are so interlocked with real currency that it seems almost ridiculous that there is no actual 'receipt'

I pay in six-month cycles. I have no idea when I'm to receive my 500 points per month. Every month? Every six months? I've no accounting to know whether I've received them or not.
