View Full Version : Suggestion about guest passes.

So I'm leveling with a friend (hes F2P, I'm VIP) and I was looking at quest lists and trying to decide what to do next. I saw the Necropolis 1 chain, so I figured I would buy a guest pass for him and we would go do it. We get inside and what do we find? We can't 2 man it because of a mechanic in the dungeon (gate switches requiring 4 people). Needless to say I am upset at having wasted my points to get the guest pass for a dungeon that we can't do.

Nowhere in the game does it say that the quest "requires" 4+ people. The quest log says "Suggested Players: 4", but we have been doing quests that say 3, 4, even 5 suggested. The guest pass doesn't say anything about the dungeon having a required number of people. This needs to be remedied. If the dungeon is going to have a required number of players, state it clearly before people waste time and money attempting to do said quests.

Now before people start responding with "Oh just go find a group" or "Get more people then" let me say this. That is not the point. The point is that if a quest has a required number of people to even get a door open, then have it say that somewhere.

Think hirelings...

I know it's not what u wanna hear, but you can actually solo that quest with a caster :)

I think that's actually more a suggestion about quest descriptions than guest passes, but it would be nice if those quests which can't be completed without 4 bodies would say so someplace you can find ingame, before paying money for them.

Oh, and guest passes need to have longer durations - if these guys had had 4 hours to get the series done instead of 90 minutes, it would have been much less of an issue to just go grab a couple of hirelings to stand on the pressure plates.
