My 9 Ranger/1 Fighter/1 Rogue went to pick up the Fighter Haste Boost 1 just now and it wouldn't let me. I took the Fighter level at 2 (Rogue was first), and every other Fighter related enhancement was available that a level 1 Fighter could pick up, but for some reason only the Fighter Haste Boost was grayed out as unavailable. Nothing in the description was red, I mean all you need to be is a level 1 Fighter to take it.
What am I missing? I've already got the Rogue Haste boost, but with the recent increase to base attack speed I'd really like to pick up the Fighter one as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks

You answered your own question.
You can only have one, Rogue haste boost OR Fighter haste boost

Hah! I was just coming back to edit my post cause I just thought about that. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yeah, you can't take two identical enhancements from different classes. But there is no difference between fighter and rogue haste boost if they're the same level anyway. You will notice something similar if you take a second level of rogue later on, in that you will not be able to take both ranger dexterity and rogue dexterity.

Yet oddly enough you can take a class skill and a race skill of the same type. My lowbie Barbarian took both Barbarian Constitution I and Dwarven Constitution I.

Yes, Race/Class synergies work, not Class/Class. That's the way the game is balanced.
