Sharn Syndicate: Underlord

I'm attempting the quest "sharn syndicate: underlord" where I just completed the stormreaver fresco from burgundy tir. I'm supposed to report to yorrick the info about zircon being a sharn syndicate. So I go to contact Yorrick, and all he says is the completed quest text from defeating Talon Darsin and doesn't advance the quest. Yorrick still sits there with a checked chalace above his head and my quest log telling me to contact him. Is this a bug? Is there a workaround this?

I think it's a bug, I have exactly the same problem. Can't abandon the quest and can't finish it, and I already did the whole quest chain once on this character. I submitted a bug report a week ago, but no answer yet.

if you talk about what i think (the note in the quest a few after the toaster stole the fresco)
as this was my 2nd run in there where i got the note, i had done the whole chain already
after talking to tir i just had to speak to him again, regardless of the symbol above him to finish that sidequest

though the reward sucked (yay for a +2 quarterstaff as only option -.-)

I have the same issue, although I'm on the Laundry portion of the quest chain. Yorrick has a golden chalice and gives me the completed quest text, but doesn't advance anything (and the golden chalice remains). I can't abandon it as the game says it is a non-repeatable quest. I'm higher level now and don't care about the reward, but I hate having a flashing golden check on the map that I can do nothing about.
