So as far as I know the idea of the Dev Tracker was originally to track posts made by developers of the game, people such as Eladrin, Flimsy Firewood and Keeper who actually make the game we all enjoy.
And of course it has also come to serve as a Mod Tracker letting us know when the moderators, Tarrant and Tolero have something to say to the community. Some QA people have showed up to such as 404error. All of this is great in my opinion and appropriate.
However, could we please not have the DDO store sales notices show up here? They clutter up the Dev Tracker and do not serve its purpose. Add a Sales Tracker if you want but please keep the Dev Tracker free of all this annoying sales stuff. Thank you.

Worse to me is all the useless stuff they are flooding the Dev tracker with in the BROCCOLI thread.
Jeeesh... people use Dev tracker to find out useful information from the Devs, not see some cutesy little pic of something that has nothing to do with the game when people are starving for REAL CONSTRUCTIVE POSTS from the Devs.
If your a dev an going to post a cute pic in the BROCCOLI thread, at least have the courtesy to not post it to Dev tracker.

I didn't mind the broccoli, at least it wasn't trying to get me to spend money.

That may be, but it has no place in the Dev tracker.
Even less than the sale announcements.
At least those have something to do with the GAME.
I dont care about the Devs ability to photoshop bad pics of Brocolli into a fantasy picture.
I dont care about the Devs kitty kat.
I dont care about the Devs favorite arena football player.
All I care about in the DEV TRACKER is DEV comments on things having to do with DDO and what is going on.
(sorry, I will stop now. Not trying to hijack your thread with my gripes, but it seemed a fitting place to chime in on the abuses of the Dev Tracker).

Many people, (myself included most of the time) only check the tracker and don't browse the rest of the forum. The first few sales they did, I wouldn't have known about if they didn't pop up in dev tracker. Which is probably why they did it in the first place. Easy advertisement.
It seems now that they're sending email notifications about at least some of them though so maybe that's a step toward removing them from the tracker.
Also I seem to recall a post awhile back that said devs don't have the tool to not have their posts flagged in the tracker (community people like Tolero do but not actual devs). So unless that's changed recently it could be the culprit here and not some advertisement gimmick. /shrug. It doesn't bother me one way or the other really.

That is correct according to Tarrant in this thread (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=184207)

You shouldn't.
I deem you 'not special enough' for Dev Tracker Evasion.
Discuss.
Oh and yeah, no vegetable/fruit/mineral junk on the Dev tracker and certainly no DDO Stores promotions either. (Unless the Pirate King raid is on special, a'course)

Broccoli is fine by me, DDO Store promotions are not.
Make a rpomotion news paper, or maybe a "QuartermasterC Tracker" or RSS feeds if you really want but keep it out of the dev tracker.
