A quick question about casting

When I try to cast cure moderate on a party member I instead cast it on myself. I hover over them with the reticle and thier protrat comes up in the bottom corner of the screen. I cast the spell but it casts on me. So how do i fix this or get around it?

sounds to me like you are just soft targeting them. Make sure you actually click on them, instead of hovering over them.

you need to either right click on their character model, or their nameplate in your party frame.

the heal will then hit them :)

It might help to turn soft targeting off. I do this on my casters first thing.

You can also use F1 to target yourself or F2 - F12 for party members.
