Currently playing a lvl 2 human ranger Link (http://my.ddo.com/character/cannith/baenlynn/) with a focus on scouting (move silently, listen, spot, search etc.) and I'm wanting to focus on ranged weapons. What are some good ways of improving my ranged damage?

Also. Would it be worth multiclassing to rogue for Disable Device and sneak attack? If so how many levels should I invest?

Any other general advice would also be appreciated: feat suggestions, enhancements etc.

With 10 base Int you'll have some trouble investing in rogue skills while keeping your other skills, unless you go mainly rogue, which will hurt your ability at ranged.
If you really want to focus on ranged weapons (just be aware it's not an efficient playstyle to be always ranging), then stay pure ranger. The ranger class at L20 offers an important speed boost in ranged combat.
To improved ranged damage, take either the Arcane Archer or Deepwood Sniper line of enhancements (starting at L6).

Arcane Archer is a big boost in damage for a range-combat based Ranger. Once you get the Force Arrow enhancement then you can turn it on for 10 SPs and any shot you make has an extra 1d6 force damage till you shrine or enter another instance. You also can create arrows that never run out.

That being said, you might want to be versatile switching back and forth between ranged and melee as needed.

Thanks for the feedback tihocan. Deepwood Sniper looks like the best bet for me considering the way I've already been heading. I'm not really relying on ranged much at the moment, But I like having the option.

That's the plan. Ranged for an initial strike then when the enemy closes to melee, cut them to pieces with TWF

If you want to keep ranged as an option but mostly melee, then the Tempest path may be more appropriate.
