Ranger/Monk/Rogue build, still a strong build?

I was reading in some old posts about how a ranger18/monk1/rogue1 build was considered one of the strongest builds going. Is this still true with all the recent changes made to game? The "exploiter" build used elves for all the racial abilities, would a drow also get the same bonuses?

This would be a 28 pt build. I'm not looking at end game content, just a reasonably self-sufficient, fun build to play.

Still one of the strongest builds in the game over all.

With the recent changes to attack speed and the improvement to tempest 3 this is quite literally probably the strongest melee build in DDO. The devs will tinker with the attack speed some more and eventually release a melee ranger capstone which will reduce this build's effectiveness a little, but it will likely always be a strong build.

If you have drow unlocked go ahead use it.

drow is good if you want 10 char and 10 intell base, spell resistance, and the shortswords.. i'd think stick with elf or halfling for the saves/flanking skill, also +1 to AC
