Party chat

For some reason, when I select party chat, what ever I type pops up in general and doesn't get heard by the party I am in. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry you are having issues. If you right click on the party tab, you will get a sub menu of further priorities. Go to outgoing messages and make sure that the party chat tab is set to party. This should fix the issue. Keep in mind you can get rid of some of the junk defaultsfor incomming messages also to help clean up some of your chat windows! :D

Right click on your party tab in the box and it will bring up options for incoming and outgoing tells, just click what you want to see come into each box and where you want your tells to go.

sounds like you loooking at party chat in the generall chat window. To fix this you can do one of two things. Either, make sure you click the prty chat tab when ever you get into a group or teach you self to use the /p command.

What /p does is input any text following it into the party chat from any window. Kinda like /t or /r for tells accept it works for party chat.
