Got into DDO and as i learned more n more of the game i rerolled tanks several times. Started reading more threads and im on my 4th reroll. Trying to save what i have atm beeing its still only LvL 4, can anyone let me know if its salvagable or should i just start clean.

Dwarf Chaotic Neutral
Str 16
Dex 16
Con 18
Int 8
Wis 8
Cha 6

Got Dodge, Imp Shieldbash, WeapFocus Slash, DAxe Specialty.
Been pumping points into Balance and intim. Feel like im low on Char and Str. Is it worth for me to just throw tomes into Cha and str or even playing this toon further or should i just reroll it properly ? Should i multi class into something to pick up other abilities ?

Reroll and destruct!

First decide what type of tank you want to be. That solves all the issues at creation. You want 2HF, 2WF or S&B?

First max STR, drop CON to 16. If you are going 2HF you don't need the dex, if you are going 2WF then Dex needs to be 16 with a +1 tome. You have such low CHA as it is there really is no point in trying to bump it up. What is with the shield bash? INT will help with skills like jump, etc. so it may be worth dumping extra into that, otherwise dump it into con.

Cool, i figed it was screwed.. Would it be better to go Axe n Shield or 2WF D Axe ? I like dorfs and since ive got nice weaps already might as well n stick to that. 2WF sounds fun but can they tank just as good as a a ftr with a shield ? And whats the best Alignment for tanking ?

wrong

all you need is to determine if you want 2hf or 2wf. snb is not an issue. a fighter has 18 feats, more than enough to go around

To be tank, ie high AC aggro magnet, you will need a base INT of 13 (this can include tomes and level ups) in order to take a feat called combat expertise. It trades +5 to hit for +5 to AC.

The skill intimidate is what draws aggro to you when you are not able to use DPS to draw aggro.

As Aranticus stated, you should also have a DPS mode, either two handers or two weapons. FOr a 28 point build with no tomes, THF is likely the easiest to meet.

For a 28pt dwarf intimitank with THF I would go:

Lawful Good
S 16
D 14
C14
I 14
W 8
Chr 6

Do not take the shield bash feat - it is useless, take sheild mastery instead for extra blocking DR.
