Your can earn the TP to buy monk just run quests noone can or will give you their free TP and no one is using a credit card to buy you monk, sorry but it wont be to hard for you to earn it.

sorry to say this but if you cannot handle elite on the basic classes that you already get for free, there is no way you will be able to handle running a monk and be beneficial to the party.

you earn TP by favor from quests. build up enough favor then you can buy it. until then, you get no free monk.

You get "X" Favor for completing Quests on Normal, Hard, Elite. Once you complete Elite you will have reached max Favor for the Quest - move on to the next.

Quest and play the game as you normally would and in no time you will have the required favor amount in addition to any TP rewarded for reaching a Favor threshold.

When you earn in-game Favor, you are rewarded with DDO Store Points. IIRC, for every 100 Favor, you earn 25 Store Points.

You need 795 DDO points to unlock a Monk.

You can run a character through elite starting quests (usually there are groups that do that), get 100 favor (which earns you 25 DDO points), and then do it with a different character. Delete characters and repeat a total of 32 times (32x25 = 800). Each character should take you about an hour to earn that 100 favor.

Frankly, for these newb-area runs, I suggest rolling a human paladin, 16/12/14/8/8/14 stats, with starting feats of Power Attack and Imp TWF. If you make 3rd level before the 100 favor mark, pick up Toughness and the enhancements to go along with it.

Bingo! you have enough DDO Store points to unlock the Monk.



Of course, this will take about 32 hours of playtime for about $11.00 worth of DDO Store points. How much is your time worth?
