Mark of Making on WF

I'm trying to make a bladesworn WF Pally and was wondering if he can take the mark of making. I did not see it at character creation which kind of answers my question but just thought I would double check since without that, leading up to the iron defender pet the build loses a lot of its luster.

Mark of making is human only - wf can't have any dragonmarks.

Of course, you could always make a second (free) account, and make a dragonmarked human buff&healbot to accompany your WF character....but that would require a second computer, or learning how to run 2 copies of the game simultaneously ;)

Yeah. WF and Drow are not part of the Ebberon prophecy, to say it in the simplest way possible. Humans are able to use the Mark of Making--and iirc, I believe Humans created the original Warforges--but Warforged and Drow just can't get dragonmarks.

Humans found the secrets to making the Warforged in the wilds of Xendric... They just 're-discovered' them and altered them to put to use.

I believe it was the Quori who came up with the magics to make the warforged originally. Perhaps with plans to use them as non-dreaming hosts for the dreamspirit's essences after they'd stuffed themselves into docents.

it's not clear if the original warforged were made by the Quori to be able to inhabit a physical form on Eberron or the Giants they were fighting, as a way to enslave the Quori.
