Dungeon Question.

Hi im new to DDO but loving it thus far,
I just have a question though.
I've noticed a few quests that I have done, when I have gone back to re-do them I have an XP penalty for completing it already that goes up per each completion.
Will that always be there? so some dungeons become 0 XP after a certain stage?

Sorry for the noobish question, I did search as well as checked the wiki but couldn't find anything.

It does not reset. It goes to 0 after something like 10 completions (not sure about exact number).

Edit: on your first time through any difficulty (normal, hard or elite) you will *never* get a penalty (instead you get +25%).
