i am a lv 8 cleric. when you are in lv 1 you get a set of lv 1 spells on the spellbook. now im in lv 2 so do i get any lv2 spells. if so why dont i have any

I think you mean rank 8, level 2?

Anyway, clerics get a new level of spells every other level. At second level you should get another level 1 spell slot, at level 3 you'll get level 2 spells.
