I recently came back since I finally got some friends to join me now. I didn't get very far by myself originally. We are going to make new characters Argonnessen sever, so I am going to go rogue, ranger, fighter.

I'm thinking first level rogue, 2 levels of ranger, and 2 levels of fighter, and the rest, rogue. 28 point but, human. I might go up to level 4 ranger for spells "not very good spells mind you", and to get a +16 base attack at level 20.

Since the rules of DDO are different from table top DD, I would like to know some good suggestions. What should my stats be? Which feats would be a nice idea to get, ect...'

I'm not building a particular build, so I don't even know what to focus on, lets just say an "all around usefull" build that doesn't really specialize in anything, if that's possible. Unless you think there is something better.

I appreciate your input. :)

Crickets?

I just want to know what would be good stats and feats for him.

take at least 6 ranger levels for Tempest. One of the biggest melee enhancements in the game atm.

To take tempest you need Dodge, Mobility and Spring Attack (feats) You get twf, itwf free with 6 ranger levels along with multi shot, bow str, die hard, and faster bow fire. Pair that along with 2 favored enemys (more damage against these baddies).

The fighter levels wont get you much, consider taking monk levels, you *can* get more ac than the fighter levels. You also get two feats with the monk levels.

Rog first always for the skill points.

If you go 6 ranger and 1 monk (or fighter) you get 13 levels of rog which gives you one more SA die over 12 levels, and a second rog special ability (crippling strike, improved evasion, slippery mind, defensive roll, skill focus)

As far as stats you need to decide if you want to have a high ac, huge dps, or a balance. Depending on how you play either of these will be helpful. Look in the rog forums for some guides. I can tell you no matter what max UMD skill when you level, you wont regret it :)

ah, thanks for that. I probably want to be balance, since I was thinking a 12 for my strength.

That does sound nice, 6 levels of ranger would give me better skill points as well as more diverse feats. I might just do that.

I originally was thinking of wisdom and charisma as dump stats, but if I'm going 6 levels of ranger, I might need more wisdom then. I'm probably not going to do any levels of monk though because of this. Although the feats monks get are always nice.
