For my money guys, this is by far the best intim I've ever played with. I would solo cleric the new raid with Trixxie in it. This build makes my own intim (which I was formerly quite fond of) sick with envy.

89 AC I just switched out Dodge & I only get 1 AC from belt so I can self buff currently to 87 when things are perfect and fighting evil. However I have made some adjustments and typically with my normal PVE gear worn I can self buff to 86 but mostly run around party buffed at around 75 or so its all situational. If I play with an intim Tank I switch to 2 min 2 or lightning rapiers I am not 2 weapon speced but fun as well.

While not the AC of those Insane monk Hybreds , However I find it Sufficiant even for new content on elete, have not attempted VOD on elete or the new raid higher than normal as a Hate tank yet.

Nice to hear a pure paladin "representing" with your stats. All I hear from my friends in game is, "you should splash a monk or ranger. You'll love evasion"

Also, You mentioned tier 3 Leviks? I assume you have the ability on your DT Armor. How long did it take to grind to get the ability? Couple months? Lucky and a few weeks? Or something insane over a year?

I only ask because I have been making bloodstone runs for a long time and still haven't pulled one.

Well I could tank him with My 165 hp 28 AC Lev 15 Wizzy If you were the Cleric.

Your toon Khorbyn has very good stat distribution. pick up SP bauble from new weapon shipment quest and you would be good on sp from shrine to shrine. :) I would say one of the best clickies in game for Melee casters with lower SP) Rangers, Pallys and High breeds

If I get one that I dont give up to a caster again , Than if we are able to switch stats in the future I would take 2 off wis and put 2 more on chr for trixxie other than that I would not change a thing.

I have ran quests with less AC on purpose approxx 100 Less HP including 2-4 less str,con,chr,wis as well just to check out differances in overall performance and real need of certain stats at + or - 2-4 so my final stat choises are based of my experimentations.

How did you look up my stats? I don't think I've ever posted those. Was thinking of posting my build once I've run up to 20th level and understand what tweaks will be the best. In any event, I have crafted SP Air Guard goggles. I really like those, and I'm finding I have plenty of SP with that on. What's mostly picked my interest is that you've gone pure Paladin on your DOS. Many, many builds ago I gave up staying pure so I could have a higher intimidate skill. I'm curious to see what your UMD is. I opted for a level of Rogue primarily for UMD without having to juggle items around (which I find a pain). Now I'm wanting to build a pure Pally to see how a pure Pally and a mix compare with each other.

When I first heard about DoS my theory has been that a middling intimidate would work well for the trash mobs and hate for the boss mobs. So that's great to hear it's working well. I'm looking forward to trying this out myself this weekend when I finally will have a chance to.

Yes, we are talking about a tanking Paladin. SIB3 is the new Defender of Siberys prestige enhancement, and SIB3 is the third and final tier. Generally speaking you want to tank trash mobs (not red named) by using the intimidate skill. With the new DoS (Defender of Siberys) prestige class this gives you the ability to hate tank red named bosses (some of which you need a crazy high intimidate for intimidate to work).

Yeah, Khorbyn is a reroll of my previous main, and I'm just starting to gather up my gear so that's very interesting to see what you have. Again, I think that's awesome you've been able to do well with DoS on a pure pally!

Stats are a very debated Issue But if ya want to go pure Pally Sib 3 I can help you there , as Far as gear Just check out gear avalible as well as shroud & Dt possablilities & collect what you feel you have time or the luck to get.

Since my starting stats can be Improved on some Here is what I suggest now as a level 20 pure Sib 3 Pally since there is new gear out that was not avalible when I made Trixxie, Like shroud and Bauble from weapon shipment.

Int 13 for CE . Buy a +2 tome and start at 11 or gamble for a +3 and start at 10 , (not many skill points)

Dex 13 for dodge if you want, I currently dont use dodge . Need to reach max 18 dex with +6 Item for sib 3 to cover the AC bonus as a pure pally with tower shield, so if you dont plan on the dodge feat in your build start at 10 a +2 tome is easy to get or 9 if ya are ready to go fer it and get the most out of your stats and get a +3 tome, if ya decide to have dodge than add 1.

Wis: Plan on enough to get all the pally spells but you will need a shroud sp item and bauble from weapon shipment will be a plus to keep your spells up. which Angelskin,DF,Prayer & Zeal are a Pallys best friend. My pally went a little high here but at the time there was no shroud items or bauble.

The rest of your stat points I would divide pretty even as these are all Important and all have their Advantages.

I agree with you on dodge and don't currently use it...IMHO because it's an expensive feat for just 1AC. Now that we know about the DoS belt, wouldn't the max dex bonus for DT full plate be +3, since you'd to use the DoS belt over the daggertooth belt?
+1 from DT full plate
+1 from DoS II and
+1 from DoS III

So it looks like you could use dex as a dump stat now: start at 8, add a +6 dex item and a +2 tome. Or am I missing something that gets the max dex bonus to +4? I just checked the compendium and DoS I only gives a +1 to max dex bonus on a tower shield and not to armor.

Seems like a pair of rogue (evasion, UMD unlock) or fighter (3 feats) levels to get intim to a decent level would be really well advised.

Yes It will depend on what you wanna Achieve.If ya wanna just intim trash and try to hate tank bosses you can do pure.

Yeah those disintegrates hit hard. I had to respec for a few more hp on mine so i could take em after rolling 2 1's in the same raid. I firmly believe there is RNGH8 for palys. I seem to roll more 1's on mine than any other alt :P
