Added friend to list, but does not show up

Hey, I added my brother ( who was playing with me at the time ) to my friends list. I opened up (o) , and he was not on the list. I kept on trying to add him, but instead of saying "xxxx has been added", it just kept on telling me "xxxx has been updated."

The real problem is, I can add ANYONE ELSE online, but him. What's the deal with this? Any Ideas? I'm stumped and annoyed :(

If it matters, I recently deleted an char, and made a new one with the same name.

Oh and we can join each other's parties.

same problem here... i can add my son, but added my mate and hes invisible...

Maybe they are ANonymous? I know ANon used to show up as Offline even though they were Online. Maybe they dont show up at all now? Bug?

There's an option in the friends list to hide offline players... if the player is set to anonymous they will show up as offline, which means they won't be in your list if you have hide offline checked.

The person you are adding needs to have progressed beyond snowy Korthos to show up in your friends list. So just all take the boat to Stormreach and you'll all show up.

I am having the same problem with my current character as not of my friend can add me for some reason.

And I have already reach Stormreach.
