Possible bug with email and comments

I'm not getting emailed when i have comments waiting for moderation, despite the option being enabled.

I am, however getting emailed when i approve a comment.

Anyone else having a problem with this?

Yep, we discovered that ourselves during development of the site. That just seems to be how this version of Wordpress/WPMU works. Not the most helpful thing ever ever :)

It's probably something we can look at improving in a future update but we typically shy away from changing core Wordpress functionality if we don't need to. It makes upgrades to new versions much more painful.

Word of wisdom. I'm having huge problems upgrading the wiki because the guy who was in charge before had too much fun changing how MediaWiki works.

If I had him in front of me, I would beat him up... but he made the good decision to live in Alaska.
