Well not exactly new I saw that and just for the heck of it I made a new character here and will try to help new players as a fighter/healer and wouldnt mind donations of wands to help me do that. character is in sig, figured that was best 28pt build I could come up with for now to do what I wanted here, and so far running into excellent people both old and new players.

I don't know about this anymore. Not to get into specifics, but apparently drama is now on Sarlona. Not sure if it is a F2P member or a VIP, but someone now has it out for my guild...or so I've been told...

Its true Arnya helped me a bunch when I was leveling Kalari I still remember him coming back for my lost butt in my first Tempest spine run and didnt make me feel like a complete noob for being lost repeatedly.

As far as help while it bugs me I do answer any tells asking about gear and class in game got a few last night while questing so if it takes me a bit to respond thats why but I never let a tell go unanswered unless its sick then you just get squelched :p

Oh, and try to get into Lost Legions groups too - fun times, lotsa laughs :)

And Kalari was never a noob, she just plays like that to make the rest of us look good :)

I would have to agree, Black Mantis, Lost Legion, Forgotten Legion, Caffiene, Kill To Live (shameless plug) and several other guilds, are all great groups of people. If you are new, you'd be remiss to not ask anyone from these guilds if you have questions.

Hehe yeah that was one of the first groups that picked me up and I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to get my mic to work :) Had to drop group sadly though cause my son was needing me he was a wee one then :) good to see you.

I’m not a new player. Like many, I played about 3 years ago. Real life issues caused me to stop playing.

I’m back now, hopefully for a good long while. I started a new character.

First, I want to thank all of you who keep checking general chat and answering questions. I don’t know any of you, and I almost never ask questions, but thanks. In my time back, general chat has been one of the most frustrating things I endure. I do keep watching it, and I try and answer questions as best I can without current knowledge. (I am still surprised that there aren’t kobolds in the dungeons, though)

It’s not the questions that bug me, it’s the constant ‘I’m better than you’ and ‘my mmorpg is better than this’ comments. I just try and filter them out, but it does interrupt the flow when a good conversation is starting.

I’m also a minor/starting RP’er online. I’ve played PnP forever, but it’s hard for me to grasp the whole pre-determined online RP experience. I’ll get the hang of it I’m sure. (I do almost always sheathe my weapons and sit when in a tavern!)

Anyway, I’ll be about. I haven’t had the opportunity to be in a party yet because, frankly, I’m slow as all get out. I walk through a dungeon like molasses, and I like it that way. I also have the annoying habit of declining random party invites, but maybe I’ll take one up and we’ll see where it leads.

I’m just introducing myself and saying hello to the server. Despite some unavoidable drawbacks, I really like it here. The experience is a little smoother, I think, to those not totally familiar with the system.

hey welcome to the game. I don't pay attention to general chat for the most part.....but I haven't played any low level stuff yet so I'm sure alot more is going on there than end game. The community as a whole on Sarlona is a pretty good group of people.....we all have our spats from time to time.....but it's pretty rare to see.

best thing to do is go to the Sarlona Guild Threads. There are a few that are taking players both Old and New. Good Luck!!!
