I haven't branched out my characters to multiclass and was pondering this:

Lets say you have the level cap of 4, by hitting level 3 and you can advance to 4.
You decide to become a fighter; now that you are a 3 Rogue and 1 fighter. = level four?

Does it mean you are now a level 4 character at the level cap? (without upgrading)
I assume this means you can't go beyond 20? (

Correct, they all add together.

Thanks for the fast reply!

I also recall you cannot return to the class to multiclass from correct?

Wonder if someone can be succesful with a 5/5/5/5 class, hitting level 20 dungeons or raids might be a little hard.

Not sure what you mean? Can you level up Fighter->Cleric->Rogue->Fighter->Cleric->Rogue? Yes. Don't have to go Fighter->Fighter->Cleric->Cleric->Rogue->Rogue.

Can only take three classes right now...and will most likely stay that way.

You can only multiclass with 3 different classes total like 10/5/5 or 7/7/6...you get the point.
