Does free content stop at level 12? I've heard people saying it does. If it does what's the point of giving F2P players a cap of level 20 when they can't do anything past level 12.

Also, has anyone had any luck getting the 8-12 level sigils? I've been 8 for 3 days now and still haven't seen one :(

Free players can acquire Turbine points without having to buy them. It is my understanding that these can be used to purchase modules. For example, at level 12 a purchase of Gianthold will allow lvls 12-16 fairly easily with some very fun quests.

The last free quest available without buying anything is Invaders, a level 12 quest. That's what people are saying when they say it caps at 12. You can continue to grind up a bit more beyond that and find level sigils for free, but basically you need to start paying around then if you want to continue with that character.

By running to 12 or even 13 by running elites you should acquire enough favor-related tp to purchase a module or two: i would highly recommend the ruins of gianthold if you'll only buy one, and then the vale of twilight as the second.


f2p players will inevitably have to buy modules, but since you can acquire the points without spending money, it remains free to do so.
