PvP in DDO

can someone please tell me what sort of PvP is offered in this game?

someone told me earlier today there is little to no pvp in this game, and i need more info, cause im a big pvper.

If PvP is crucial for you, you'll most likely conclude that this is not a game for you as there is indeed little to no PvP in this game.

There are four ways to PvP in DDO:

Challenge someone to a duel. There is a function to challenge someone in a duel. It's nwe so I don't know how to activate it. I think you have to target someone and the option will appear on the focus orb but I could be totally wrong on that one.
Jump in a PvP put. Most tavern have an area where you can PvP. You jump down and fight whoever is there.
Deathmatch. You form team and talk to the right NPC to start a match that ends when one team has X many deaths.
Capture the Flag. Same as above but select the capture the flag option.


Warning: PvP is DDO is extremely imbalanced and is not really considered a supported feature.
