Not bad until the time the "Kick Some Axe" slogan popped up.
I thought that the poll they had for that truly mortifying catch-phrase - you know, the one that was **** near universally negative amongst us players - would have helped the Powers That Be see that phrase was nothing but garbage.
And the chicken noises... oh lord, and here I thought "Kick Axe" was bad.
Overall if I had seen that vid before playing, the first 90% of the movie would have me interested... but the last 10% would tell me that this game was amateur hour and to stay away.
Really, really bad.

I rolled my eyes when she said, "clicky clicky" at the end. *lol*
I liked the original male that talked when the game first came out. It was deep, dark and I got goose bumps and was very excited about the game.
Ok, going to log on and "kick some AXE!"

From another thread:
The video was done and approved before the poll. Not sure if there's a later version without that tagline, but if there is we'll swap it out. That made me feel better...

Seriously, "clicky clicky"? "Let's kick some axe!"?!?
Not to nitpick, as the video footage was reasonable, but those taglines appeal to 7 year olds, not young adults and adults who tend to play this game.
Bloody hell. That was horrible.
This isn't Pikachu Online last time I checked. It's D&D Online.
Make the commentary deserving of such a title.

Its funny that people get angry over this...
That said they should of lost the clicky clicky.
Yeah, I thought the new movie was great, and LMAO at the chicken noise!

Yeah, I thought the new movie was great, and LMAO at the chicken noise!
The movie was awesome, even the kick some axe went by without much of a blink, but those chicken noises were just /facepalm
But maybe my sense of humor is just a bit too sofisticated for the intended target audience of the video.

Why in the world did they keep that tagline? *gag*
I would have thought the overwhelming negative feedback that poll a while back would have made their writers go back to the drawing board on that one.
And sorry, but the chick who's narrating sounds like she's talking to 10 year olds.

I found the last 10secs to be funny. In a tongue-in-cheek way.

Thankfully I didn't see this video before I downloaded the game.
It is kinda childish I think too. I wonder how many people saw the video and joined? :D

I thought the humor was funny and nice. I appreciated it, I guess. To each their own - to me, it was the perfect way to promote the game and not be too serious about it all. It also made it stand out a bit from the crowd, IMO. I guess people are just split on it all!

I would do away with the kick some Axe tagline, but I found the chicken noises rather funny. But then again it's still pretty early here.

The video was very good.
The final bit made me laugh. I enjoy the goofy and slighly absurd.

Kick Some Axe is a little goofy but fine.
Clicky Clicky, bawk bawk? What? Why would I be afraid to play a video game? It doesn't work on a serious level, nor on a fun level. You are insulting me by inferring I am a scared chicken, you are challenging me, "clicky clicky" isn't catchy and doesn't make sense, and you are talking to me like I am six.
I'm quite surprised more than one person in this thread found that part funny. It was great up till then, and then, "What?"
