Several of my characters that I logged onto last night are listed as Anonymous and I cannot view them. I have never been anonymous on any of my characters. Please tell me how to fix this.

Having the same problem as well. My guildie also couldn't see my character or his characters.

There seem to be some display issues regarding whether characters are your own or not: I cannot view the profiles of any of my own characters, and have no problems with any other characters
Also, my guild's quest log display, for me, consists exclusively of my quests for the last 6 days, and it does not include anyone else, even though many guildmates were in the quests I completed.
Also, I cannot see guild log activity for any other guild, only ones I have characters in.

Same here.. I'm super-anonymous.
I'd like to know how to make them viewable, and also how to make them unviewable.

Yeah, that too. Same here.

Also, going to the "My Admin" page shows me one guild that I have some alts in on the top of the page, but not my main guild where I have most of my characters. Not that the My Admin page is particularly useful anyway.

I can't even access my character's pages if I log out, but everyone else's still work fine.

Anonymous on the social is actually not connected to anonymous on MyDDO. By default, all characters start out as anonymous on MyDDO so that we do not expose the relationship between players and their characters. "Anonymous" is a slight misnomer, however, as you should be able to search for and view their character sheets regardless of that setting.
To manage those options, log into the site, go the My Profile link in the page header, and then go to the 'My Characters' link at the bottom of the left column. This should present a list of your characters and their current public/anonymous status.
As another note, until your character logs into the game, there will be little to no information about them. This is due to a new data gathering system we now have in place to get more detailed and accurate information about your characters on the web. You'll probably see a lot of "unknown class" or "unknown race" messages until that character is logged in.

Hmm.. I have a "My Admin" link in the header, but no "My Profile."
So that is problem #1.

Also, if you could report the specific pages, character, or account you're have issues with, it'll be easier for us to determine the root of the issue. Feel free to send PMs to me if you wish to not make this information public on the forums.

Also, there has GOT to be a way to suppress character information, attached to a player or not. I mean, for example, everyone knows (to pick a high profile example) who "Eriik of Thelanis" is, and if character sheet were to be available it wouldn't matter if you could see the player was Akroma or not.
This is stuff people could get pretty upset with each other over.

I don't actually see a My Profile link. All I get is the guild page for the guild I'm in Sacred Flame Guardians on Sarlona. How do I access my non-guild page?

I have none of that available. So far, the whole thing seems pretty useless.

User name is Mockduck. Password is - JUST KIDDING! :)
Anyway, when I log in I go to the guild page here: http://my.ddo.com/guild-sarlona-sacred_flame_guardians/wp-admin/
instead of my personal page. Any ideas?

We're looking into the issue of the My Profile link not showing up, hopefully I'll have more info for you soon.

I think the problem may be guild officership, as I cannot access anything but the guild profile page and blog, and cannot access my personal profile at all.

Well, here's what I had to do to actually get this thing working:
1. log in
2. go to My Admin
3. update profile (even if you don't do anything)
4. logout
5. close browser
6. open browser and log back in!

Jerry, try logging in as your original forum username corduroyguy or however you spelled it and see if that works. One of my guildies was able to get his profile by using his original forum account before it was renamed.

That worked. I think the big thing is to close out the browser and open up another one after logging in and then back out.

Yeah, I tried that. Said "not a valid account".

I agree 100%. Anonymous should mean exactly that and be completely removed from any and all lists.

I'll swap...
I have my characters anon, widgets removed and viewing set to anon.
Yet anyone (even if not logged into my.DDO.com) can view my character's details etc.
Did Turbine bother to test the privacy features actually WORKED?

I was playing around with the site earlier and had trouble with getting my characters listed in the order I wanted. Is there a way to arrange by server? And how come the servers are not listed alphbetically?
Just a few of the oddities (for me at least) I was stumbling around with.

It's worse than that - they think they did. They built it to de-link your character from your account name and thought that made it private. This is probably fine for LOTRO, but this game ain't LOTRO.

Theres an issue with that for sure two girls that I had transferred between servers are currently under that whole anonymous thing. One I know ive been playing since she is currently working on level 19. The other I logged on at least 2 weeks ago to check items on but I guess I can log onto that server again soon if I want them updated. But I know all my sarlona characters should be up to date and they are not.

Full character data collection only started with the launch of DDO Unlimited (last week). Any character that has not logged in since the re-launch will not have any information.

Yes but ive been playing Nyxy all week they even have data on her level up and what skills feats I chose but nothing else. Shes also not availible in my character signature it says I have to log her in and im playing her right now. I just assumed that because she transferred to Thelanis then back to Sarlona maybe something got messed up with her.
