Im looking to start a new character, and given the current state of Mod9 I want to make the ideal character for crowd control and folding enemy armies upon themselves, I only have access to 28pt builds as I am playing on Cannith. I have no interest in fighting with melee and ranged bows or tossing damage spells and worrying about DC's, I just want to run into a dungeon solo or with a party and make all the dungeon critters follow me around kill each other for me then at the end of a dungeon I can take the army of mind controlled critters and make them zerg the boss for me.

Should I go Bard or Sorcerer for this, and where would I find the ideal builds for doing this reliably and repeatedly?

Thanks!

I would go Wizard rather than Sorc or Bard. A few reasons for this:

Level 20 Wizard can get higher DCs than a Sorc. Wizard has more CC options than Bard. Wizard can carry more spells and swap out spells--this is important because different quests/raids will present different CC/debuff challenges (undead vs. fleshies for example).

And Wizards get more feats than Sorcs--which allows you to boost your DCs even higher.

Bards DC on the facinate/enthrallment is 60-80 for a will save...Show me a wizzy that has that high of DC.

You need to worry about DC's if going to CC you will want max char or int if wiz and pick focuses in the paticular spell category.
