If you dont want spoilers for the new raid dont read

After running the new raid a few times and then beating it. there is a new death penalty on part 3 that will cause the boss to regen 25% of his health for every few seconds that someone stays dead.

So, what i mean is that when someone dies, The boss will regen his health back to full after about 10 secs or so.

The problem I see for some with this raid will make it almost impossble to do if your connection is not the best and you have constant bouts of what people call lag. If someone has problems with lag and they die. the raid could be a failure, you will just run out of resources.

We had one run where lag did play apart in us just redoing the raid from the beginning because the person was lagged out and was not getting the rez and the bosses hitpoints was back to full health.

This will less of a problem as we level and can over come the regen but as it stands now its will very challaging for groups that have people with poor connections or people who are not preparred to deal with the extra resources to keep people alive.

I do like the system but I think the regen needs to be toned down to atleast 5% to 10% instead of the 25% its at now.

Yeah, if they want to keep the gameplay idea of "Boss gets hp by killing players", then they should just give him an instant heal of some percentage whenever someone dies, instead of basing it on how long he stays dead.

Sounds like they did it to make Cheat Death semi-useful. :D

From what I can tell, the only lag i still see and which they said they have not fixed yet, is the DPS lag, which we saw.

Now, I have been hearing people getting lag, even though nobody else in the group is getting it and I believe those are the people that will be having problems.

I keep hearing people with Packet loss problems and thats a problem they can fix with their ISP or with their computers, As i had to fix a Random Packet loss with my ISP. They accidentlly reverted a new Docsis file to the old one and it would sometimes screw up data transmission.

I have not seen any lag at all not related to the DPS lag.
