Dragonscale was always a debacle I think they're happy to have go away.

I mean... can y ou even imagine a new player grinding out 25 scales? It won't even be around soon. And that's probably for the best.

I don't see them going away. Dragonscale is some of the best armor available at level 14 and certainly viable in end-game. And unlike Dragon Touched you know EXACTLY what you're getting.

A new player solo grinding or PUGing 25 scales? Yeah, that's an issue. Most new players will become guilded, and it only takes a few hours with a solid guild group to farm a set.

Pre-mod 9 I helped farm 18 scales for a friend in an afternoon, 3-manning. Its not hard if you can dedicate yourself to the grind.

Why arent you using dragonscale?

Because me and my friends could easily 2 and 3-man the refuge quests and SoS we had this GREAT idea to get EXACTLY what we wanted on our dragon touched armors.

Myself, 120 Sovereign runes, my wizard friend 200+ sovereign runes later...

I still have my White dragon docent, and if my sorc didn't have a skiver I would farm for the blue scales. I might anyway because DT robes look hideous.

I don't see it... sorry. How someone would grind 25 scales for armor they'd use for maybe 2 levels? Nah.

It's probably faster and easier to grind 25 scales than it is to get just the right Dragontouched Armor, unless you're lucky. Consider the reflagging requirements for Sorjek as well. At least for divine and arcane casters, I think blue dragon scale armor still is near optimal when measured against time and effort you'll probably spend for a better set of Dragontouched armor.

Maybe you missed that first time through...
