Wow, yeah that should totally be part of the DDO Store.

I second, third and fourth that!!
I did have a PM exchange wit ha Turbine rep who told me they dont do it and are not planning on doing it but she would 'mention' it.
My guess is that it wont happen because there is some amount of physical work that takes place (they have said before they take 2-3 weeks because they let them pile up and then someone is dedicated to doing all of them) and using TP would probably increase the real world workload of someone at Turbine (rather than an auto mated system like the store is).
I have to think there is a way to do it though and still hold out hope that they might.

I agree to this, I mean we paid for the points/farmed them, I think we should be able to also use them for name/guild/appearance(Full appearance)/server changes. That would be some nice store options.

Seems like a no brainer to add all those services into the TP system. I assume it's just a matter of time before they do.

last official word that I had with someone working on the Store project said, not at this time, but they are working on how to get the "PREMIUM SERVICES" available in the store: Name change, guild name change, and transfer. I would expect to see the other 2 before transfer, though transfer you would have less problem with people's typos and individual could immediately see if a server was accepting new players or not.

Hey guys, I just started playing again and I was just wondering if there is a character transfer at all paid or non-payed or DDO store or anything. Pretty much I got an 8th level barbarian that needs to get to a server where my people are. I understand the DDO store transfer may not exist yet but is there any way at all?

Yep, they offer character transfer to and from any server except Cannith. Check out the premium services here:

What is logic of letting them build up for a few weeks when someone is paying cash for the transfer?

It would be great if the SOCIAL -> GROUPING list showed quests from all servers.
When you click on the quest to join, it will log off/on to other server to join party...unless the server is full?
Don't like not being able to play a quest because not enough players in party and the waiting to get a full party can be unbearable.
This will keep players always excited when they log in, wanting to play more, and become VIP or buy quests. I think it will have a huge affect on bringing more people to DDO too knowing there's almost always a quest to jump into with almost no waiting no matter what level you are.

When will the character world transfer service be open to go to Cannith and Orien? There are already people doing shroud+ on Orien, so I would've thought it would be available already... meh, anywho, lol!

Just wanted to resurrect this old thread to see if this was still on the table. Paying $25 for a server transfer when I already have tons of Turbine points seems like such a waste, and it's not an option that's currently easy to find unless you know where to look.
Maybe Turbine could even make it an in-game concept, similar to reincarnation. Create an NPC Planeswalker in the Twelve who has discovered how to travel between alternate universes (maybe this discovery can be linked to the time travel theme of the Update 7). In order to accomplish this, you must bring her a tuning fork attuned to your destination server (Ghallanda Tuning Fork, Khyber Tuning Fork, etc), conveniently available for purchase in the DDO store.
The Planescaller will then inform you that the journey between worlds is a long and complicated process, will alert you if any worlds are currently unavailable for transfer, and tells you that you will be unable to access the character until the transfer is complete. After clicking the final "accept" button, the character is then teleported away and automatically logged off.
Thoughts?
