New Invasion solo'd

I was bored and my guild was running the new stuff and wanted a taste of it, so I decided to solo A New Invasion.

Used 10 major mnemonic potions...Lots of blade barrier for the end fight

Actually I am just sad that this is possible. I hate the scaling of normal, the other nerfs of difficult traps and bosses. I like the other changes and am excited to play but I want more challenge not less.

Actually, this quest was a bit of a challenge to solo. The Air Elementals usually appear with groups of people and made it difficult to live through some of the fights without worry. The dungeon is nicely designed, although I would have liked to see more variety for the walls instead of the same bland corridors over and over...I had a fun time soloing this quest, especially with my guild telling me it's super hard :D

I've just wiped on that quest last night along with all the rest on hard. I congratulate you. There is no way it coud have been that easy having used 10 Major Mnemonic Potions. I think it took skill to do what you did in that short amount of time too. Good Job!

I did this solo a couple days ago on a 14 cleric/2 monk/1 rogue. I didn't even notice the air eles, and since the nerf to the them they don't seem to do anything in a fight. What about them gave you trouble?

The tough spot for me was walking into a named beholder and named devil standing next to each other.
