I get to the connect screen but it won't. Just keeps giving the minute countdown to retry again and again. Is it just busy or is this a problem? Seems like other people are in, and I can't even patch.
Thanks

****Ok it finally got me connected after about 20 min, guess it was just busy. ***

I'm also having the "Client DAT files don't correspond to those of the patch server" problem. I have the beta client, played in the beta, had characters for the beta, everything as should be, and yet I'm fail? Somehow do I not achieve the access point of being in the beta?

From what they said before, you can't update the beta client to live.
You have to do a fresh seperate install for the live servers.

Indeed. http://www.ddo.com/news/597-get-into-ddo-unlimited-early-head-start-begins-on-september-1st
Links make life easier.

I would go with either of these clients as I believe you will be able to bypass having the TDM.

In regards to OP, I'm sure you're figured it out by now...but I had that problem on the live client a few times today....restarting usually fixes it. (either the client itself or your whole pc)
