Greensteel bows are currently not properly applying blast effects

Did anyone experience this in beta ? Are they blasting too much or not at all ?

Its in the Known Issues thread dated 9/1/2009, when will it be patched? Unknown.

I know its in the known issues list... Im looking for more information about what they mean by 'not properly'.
