I just read that whole article... It's nice to see some action.. now we know why mod 9 was so late (maybe) .. it would have been nice to see some public info on this on the DDO site though, most of us would have understood

Turbine couldn't say anything (they said so at the time, as I recall) earlier than the case filing, probably so as not to give "the A word" a clue to what was happening.

Not sure how I feel about this over all.

Yes Atari obviously handled this poorly it seems, but I do have to say I'm interested what they're planning in the way of a D&D online game, especially if it were something set in the Forgotten Realms. Of course it might be stuck under the 4th edition rules format, and totally blow.

Then again I think Atari jumped the Shark after the release of the Atari 2600. It's mostly nostalgia for those good ole days that anyone give the company any thought what so ever.

Could be good news for us in the future, if turbine wins the lawsuit then they will have upwards of 30 million + to hopefully put towards ddo.
