Raffle feeler

Wanted to get a feeler out there for a Raffle.

DARPA was looking to host a raffle to get some of their weapon load off their belt. We would be sending out cheap weapons to the masses and maybe some accessories to boot.

Weapons would include vorpals, disrupters, paralyzers, smiters, etc.

We also have a few tricks up the sleeve to bring a little humor to the event.

We were thinking 10k plat buy in and you get 10 numbers. For each 10k plat you donate you get 10 numbers etc. You would have to be at the event which would be held at one of the fine pubs.

Would Thelanis be interested in said event????

Most of us have more P5's than we know what to do with.

Make it Greensteel Blanks, Bloodstones, +2 Tomes, and other rare named items and you'l get some response...

I can buy an average P5 on the AH for under 10k now....

Yes gird and bloodstones are on the table right now. Just gotta work with the guild as I dont' want to front the bill on all this. :P

Alter. Probably an OK idea. However, advertising P5 weapons is not that big of a deal for those who post and read the forums. If you want a big turnout, you need to reach out to all the players that don't have 100 of each of those weapons.

Keep in mind that returning players won't be back for another week or 2. And only a small % of current players actually read and post on the forums.

Fully aware.. I'm thinking some ingame advertising might be in order.

Trust me the p5 weapons you speak of are just a few things and are only examples. This thread was specifically posted to find out what you powergamers are looking for and to see if the casual players are interested.


Post some things you want to see and we will try our best. If we can't fulfill some of the items and make it worth it then it will fizzle to the bottom of the ddo boards :D
