Consistent Crash Spot?

Monastery, right by the first chest on the top floor down past all the traps once you drop the blue barrier. Crashed there three times in a row now ("has encountered an error and needs to close" typical Microsoft type error). No issues crashing anywhere else.

I used to have a spot in the Shroud, part 1, where running from the top right to the bottm left (drop down, go behind portal#1's pillar) I would always go LD and have to restart the game. I learned that if I ran around the front of that pillar, I wouldn't crash.

Since then, I got a new computer, and dragged all the same files from the old onto the new. Running there, I never crash in the spot the old system crashed at.

Doesn't sound like finding a different path is an option for you though :(

I have a very frequent crash spot in Soami Gardens just past the rest shrine *NOT* by the monestary quest entrance.

Make sure you push the 'Send results to microsoft' button. Turbine can login to a Microsoft server and get reports on the crashes - if they're all occurring in the same place then they can use that info to work out what the problem is.

Although this close to a new release, it's likely they will want to see this happening on the latest build before doing any investigation since the underlying bug might have already been fixed.

I have one in the necropolis in the tomb of the unhollowed(SP) quest. I get the blue screen and thats it.

If it's blue screen it's likely to be your video card (driver). Try reducing the draw distance and trying again. Also make sure you're using the latest driver.

And NEVER patch video drivers from Windows Update.

CRAFTING at the Alter in part 3........only way around it I have found is either ask guildies to stay in the shroud after completion so I come back in the shroud, craft before part 4, or have everything out of the ingrediant bags before I open the alter.....but took a lot of experitmenting to work out how to get the crafting done.
