I don't know what the deal is. I can run for a couple weeks without losing a connection to DDO. If I run VoN 6, it seems my odds of losing connection go up a zillion. I have run VoN 6 about 50 times on my characters. I have dc'd in VoN 6 about 10 times. Today it was on DDO's end. I have never had this luck when running any other quest/raid. Frustrating when you are buffing for the attack on Velah and you see everything sit still and all the voices go away.

and all the voices go away.

That means the medication is working!

As for Von 6 - dunno never happens to me.

I don't usually quite DC, but GH does something similar to me. Everything gets very very laggy in GH and in the wilderness areas. The only thing I can think of is it has something to do w/ the terrain and my computer since once I'm inside the quests the lag goes away.

That sucks man, we waited for a few minutes to give you a chance to come back. :(

It's the Dragon's fault. Dragons hate Skwerls.

Just anecdotally, it seems that certain quests are bad mismatches for certain computer set-ups. I've heard others have quest-specific problems as well. Assuming this isn't just a bad coincidence, you might try adjusting your graphics settings or trying other "lag-reduction" tricks when doing that quest to see if it prevents or reduces DCs.

but the thing is I couldn't even connect to ddo.com after the boot. Hotmail: no problem. Google: worked fine. Facebook: good. Anything from turbine: connection failed. Must be a router somewhere that hates me killing dragons.

FYI- dragons don't hate Skwerls, they fear them. Whenever I show up she puts on her blue hat and jumps off the side to the marketplace. :D
