Just curious - if you see an LFM thats "wrong" [ie. 6th lvl quest on norm, set for level range 7-9] is it poor form to ping it if you're 6th?

Guess I'm lazy. Or I don't want to bother bugging the leader with tell traffic.
I figure if he has a good reason for the odd LFM, he's justified in simply ignoring me.
But is this approach something that would tick most peeps off?

If I were the leader and you pinged it and did not fit the LFM I would ignore you out right but if you sent me a tell I would consider inviting you. But that may be just me.

I'd send a tell. Really - no harm, no foul.

Yeah just send a tell. Whats the worst that could heppen. He doesn't invite you to a group you proably weren't geting in anyway.

Same.
Although ironically, if you exactly fit the LFM, and send a tell instead, I will probably ignore you too.

K, cool. Thanks for the advice all. I would expect to be ignored, just didn't know if sending a tell instead would be annoying.
