Deleras!!!

So, playing the game now for a while...and I come to Delera's. Have to do the quest, right? So is there anybody out there that ever runs the quest for the sake of running it, or does everybody speed run it. As a new, but not brand new player, I am finding it difficult to find anyone to run it normally... BTW...ran it on a speed run...and learned nothing.

Any opinions? see ya later...haste at the door

Best suggestion if you want to run deleras and see the entire quest, make a group and say that in the title. It may take a bit longer to fill up but you should get a group that will show you the ins and outs of the quest. If you join a PUG its gonna be a speed run, even if it is only from 2 or 3 people.

what level? I love delera's and doing all the optionals, havent done them for prolly 2 years. I have a lvl 9 only. but could help this sat w/o giving spoilers

Any opinions? see ya later...haste at the doorone of the best pug groups i had was with a bunch of newbies (myself included) doing deleras for conquest. try putting up an lfm for the deleras chain, mention that newbies are welcome, and that your doing it for conquest. if your lvl appropriate, its a real nail biter.

This is a problem you will encounter quite often until Mod 9 drops. The veterans have been running these quests for 3 years, there is no surprise left in them so we tend to just want to be done with them. Delera's is amazing XP for it's level and gets run often for the speed leveler, and those tend to race through the quest like there is a rocket strapped to the back.

I like doing the optionals myself, but don't bother to mention that to the other players. If I pick a lock people tend to follow, but if I don't then I tend to run along with them.

PS: I'd offer to take you on Delera's, but I don't have Internet yet. I've some guys barely in range of you (upper-end) that could blaze a trail through evil incarnate and insidious traps whilst telling you various things about the dungeon. Once my new house has Net, look for Relics of the Last War on the guild tag -- probably can do this quest with ya late August!
