Coming soon to a House P theater near you, the minstrel extravaganza you've all been waiting for:


BATTLE OF THE BARDS


Hosted by those wonderfully wacky bards, Freeman(I promise to wear clothes this time) and Jaggie(Tuned, oiled, and ready to rock!) Prizes will be awarded, partly based on talent at composing songs and partly based on whatever whim strikes us. Also, I'll also be giving out a "Worst Dressed" award for the ugliest outfit worn by a participant.(Of course, you still have to beat some of the ones I've got stashed in a closet somewhere)

Join us for a fun-filled evening, as we finally make use of that little know bard skill: Party! Drinks will be consumed, songs will be sung, legends will be born, and dwarves will be tossed. Remember: If you aren't wanted by the Coin Lords the next morning, the party wasn't a success ;)

Our tentative date and time will be August 28th at 9:00pm EDT. Stay tuned for further notices.(Tolero, we need access to the original BotB (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=61869) thread!) Also, we'll be following the same rules as the previous BotBs, so check the original thread for rules/suggestions/help.

Gosh dang it :( i finally get a capped bard and i am going on vaction the day! and i will be gone for a month. :( well i will sing that day in remeberence as i will be traveling across country, but i will rock it out and honk to the beat of DDO music! :D

That's the spirit we like to see. Or spirits, in this case ;) Just make sure you bring enough for all of us.

The only restriction is that you must have a bard on stage with you during your performance, or at least one level of bard yourself. Other than that, anyone is welcome, no matter what level, race, class, etc. Check the original BotB thread linked in my OP for further details. Oh, and the dwarves have to bath first. I know, that may seem unreasonable to some of them, but standing in the rain just doesn't cut it after a certain point. Merfolk's Blessing can only wash away so much, after all.

I had to sing and run at Battle of the Bards due to a tabletop game but Gabby stuck around to sleep through the rest of the performances and woke up long enough to collect some fine offerings from our hosts (as my players argued about what food to order :P)
