So after the recent up roar on the forums over moving the release date I thought I would post something to brighten the mood and have a little fun. Now I know not everyone role plays, and some don't create bio's for their characters but some do. Its been done in the past and I think its time to do it again. If you've got a bio you want to share post it here. Give the characters name, class and what server. Lets see what you got.

Name: Laureea Whiteswan
Class: Fighter/Rogue 9/5
Server: Argo

My name is Laureea Whiteswan. I was born in a distant city on the southern coast. I was born into poverty and turned to crime and thuggery as a way out.
I was the muscle for one of the largest thieve's guild in the city. I learned some rudimentry lock picking and trapsmithing skills but I prefered the point of a sword to the point of a lockpick. The guild was always giving to the needy in the area we controlled. Sadly a new guild leader would change all that.

He turned the guild ruthless. We kept all the money while the needy starved and suffered for our actions. I could no longer stand by and watch the innocent suffer. I betrayed the guild to the authorities and fled for my life. While they were taken down many survived.
I am their prey now. I fled to Stormreach. Here I hope to hide out walking the fine line of making a name for myself while looking over my shoulder for those who wish to see me dead!

I hide nothing from my friends. I hope they find me worthy to guard my back!

I've had mine in verse forever, 15/1 rogue/bard:

~o My father was a surface elf,
My mother lived 'neath the wave.
My father 'twas a' sinking fast,
My mother, she did save.

The love that grew was more than self,
Though many a storm 'twould brave.
They lived and danced and then, at last,
Gave birth to a rhyming knave. o~

If you are a publisher, let me know and I will send you the manuscript containing the origins of all of my characters, both those with bastardized names on DDO and those that I haven't found a slot to roll up yet :D

Babypuncher, Halfling Monk 16

So I stole a fella's gear out of a chest just lying there in the middle of a room that happened to look like a dojo when I was a kid. So he assaulted me, and I used those goodies on his giant Human butt. So I wiped the floor with him.

I have created a monster. Now, he hunts me day and night, and my fellow halflings cannot rest in peace. He moves like wind and strikes like lightning, and I hear he even took down a Pit Fiend by himself. What have I unleashed on the world?

Would he calm down if I mailed it back? The postman says probably not, but the tavernkeep says yes. I think the postman is just scared, heh.

This babe named Xeraphim was at the tavern just an hour ago talking about some place called Shavarath, and how they needed all the help out there they could get. I think I'll head there next. Maybe we'll meet there, out on the Battlefield... I've been trying to find him, but we keep missing each other. I still think I can win the fight, but do I want to? Will he even still be angry...? Only one way to find out. Good talkin to your ghost, Gary. Good luck out there, and keep rolling 20's.

Greetings...

I wanted to share the history of my Perma-Death character. Each time Emergancy (Cleric) died I deleted her and started all over at level one ( no equipment carried over, except one heirloom item). The death makes you sad - but it is worth it for the rush and gaming experiance, knowing each dungeon could be your characters last. Give perma-death a try.

Hope you enjoy the many deaths of Emergancy - some where sad, some make me laugh when I think about them. Enjoy.

06/21/09 - Emergancy (one) - meet death will trying to heal other in Freshen the Air. Hit back to back with cold ray from trog shamans - both for 36 points of damage (he only had 44 hp). Went from full health to death in .01 seconds. But it's good times.

06/24/09 - Emergancy II - meet death while in Osgood's basement. Fighting 3 bandits and named at the end. Bandits tripped me, then named Iron Defender greased me down again. Died laying on the ground in shame of his enemies.

06/26/09 Emergancy III - meet death while being dumb and greedy in the Kobold brothers quest. Killed the named, kobold and triggered the **** . Thought I could get close, open the chest and get the loot with out getting killed - was wrong!

07/03/09 Emergancy IV - meet death while adventuring in the Water Works. A trick shaman hit me with 2 lighting bolts back to back - each for 32 pts. of damage. He lite up my life -then ended it.

07/08/09 Emergancy V - meet death with a group of fellow adventures (3 total). We lost our lives fighting a Arcane Skeleton for a chest he was guarding. As an elite fighter he was good, but we where not.

07/11/09 Emergancy VI - meet death while fighting with a Hobgobin Caster. Even with Fire Resist on, Fireballs can hurt alot.

0712/09 Emergancy VII - meet death while fighting a named fishperson on the Island. She was so young and only level one.

07/13/09 Emergancy VIII - meet death while giving a wizard a scroll - did not see the trap go off until it was too late.

07/14/09 Emergancy IX - meet death fighting a named Trog shaman. She willingly took the challenge and lost.

07/18/09 Emergancy X - meet death during a Delera's Quest. Named undead went for her will she was healing. Two quick hits and she was down for the count. - Sorry I ruined the run.

07/18/09 Emergancy XI - meet death by suicide. Accidently ran in to frost jets after all the fighting was over. - So young, so dead.

07/31/09 - Emergancy XII - meet death during a full party wipe. Fighting a group of Earth Elements. They earth grabbed us and beat us to death. We did not stand a chance.

Frenzied, TWF Heavy Pick WF Barb 16

I am made to rend, to rip and tear, to stab, to destroy. I am trained to ravage, to ruin, to make barren of all life that which threatens my friends.

I want to carve wood, to make little ponies and play with children. I want to run through the forests at play and swim in the creeks and rivers with the crowds of happy faces.

I am instructed to assassinate, to kill, to cover the battlefield in blood. The scent makes me ill, if that is even possible.

I want to dance, to sing in the rain, to laugh and be silly with my friends, living in peace and the comfort of a gentler kinder world.

I rend, I tear, I destroy and bring ruin. I make barren the lands and the life that I so long to cultivate to joy and merriment. I am at odds with myself, but I am a professional. I cannot stop what I do. I must simply do.

I weep.

I search the ruin behind me for any hint of joy, and all I see is suffering. I look ahead to the bleakened horizon, rife with the tensions of the threat of death, with the smoke of destruction rising as a solemn reminder of their mortality. I bring weeping, I bring pain. I bring the tears of bitter remorse, the burning fire of angry hatred. I bring evil to the land though I wish it well. I weep. I have become what I hate.

I crush, I smash, I break, I slice, I stab, with every balletic motion of my picks, axes and maces I destroy my dreams. I destroy my happy memories. I am becoming dead inside. Is this what it is to be a Golem?

I see weapons brandished on the horizon. They are coming my way, and none will survive it. I will enter my Rage. None will survive, not even my own heart.

My name is Akla Thornfist son of Alka leader of the Thornfist clan, I arrived in stormreach many moons ago and im still searching for the low down dirty scum who got me drunk and kidnapped me from my familys cave.

It all started when a stranger showed up in are village with a wagon full of kegs, called himself Midnightt but i dont think that was his real name, gather round he says 100 gold to the dwarf who can drink me under the table, well what dwarf in his right mind could refuse an offer like that. we drank for what seemed like hours one by one my fellow clansmen passed out until only Midnightt and myself were left standing.

Long story short I lost and when i awoke i could smell that unmistakable odor of flesh burning only problem it was me roasting over an open fire surronded by kobolds, I got myself off the spiket and killed the nasty bastards ran as fast as i could and ended up in stormreach and began my search for the scoundrel Midnightt but he always seems a step ahead I pity the fool if I ever catch up to him.

Bios first, Names after. Why will become clear...

Born to a noble family but cast into an orphanage as a baby. I grew and escaped, making my way to a large city where I was adopted in by a scrurrilous band of thieves and pickpockets. After some small adventures (and much singing) I was tracked down by my family, eventually reunited with them, and turned my back on my former comrades. Bloody peasants. I am Oliver Twist.

From a young age I have always valued hard work, pulling myself up by my own bootstraps and organising things in my dept. in the most efficient way possible. So maybe a few eggs get broken along the way but thats only collateral damage baby. I got tired with the bureacracy of my former corporation and have recently set up in business by myself. Some say I'm a bit of a maverick, but by god I get the job done, including the elimination of my former colleagues. Current market share is approaching 70% and its looking like it will be 100% by the end of the year thanks to my ingenious line of jewelry products. I have only a handful of small competitors left. Nothing can stop me now - nothing! Welcome to the DLSC (Dark Lord Sauron Corporation).

Family murdered by bandits as a child, yada yada yada, sold into slavery, blah blah blah, vowed revenge, ichi ichi ichi, trained by eastern martial arts master, chugga chugga chugga, became poweful warrior, blarney blarney blarney, hope to one day avenge, etc etc etc
I am the cliched hero of every bad piece of fantasy fiction produced int he last 30 years. (And lets face it, the bad outnumbers the good by quite a bit)

Edit: wow the point of this thread went right over my head for a minute

here is what is in some of my character's BIO

My Elven bard
"Drama doesn't Follow me it rides on my back. I maybe sexy but you don't have to stare"

"I am not a minstrel. I am s spoken word poet. So you will never catch me Minstreting. I have max ranks in perform (oratory). No that doesn't mean what you think it does sicko!

A day in the life of Roebe the bard:
Today I woke up at the (\@#\ of noon to find it was another four asprin morning. I eat a helping of cold boar shank to cover up my morning breathe of Distillate.
Then I put on the same shirt I wore yesterday, and chase a haste with a Expeditious retreat. Hay, I never claimed I could make it through the day sober.
Feeling a little jittery I step out of my house to greet the day. The sun hits me in the face like (\@#\$ off troll. I stumble down the road to the local tavern. For a few hours I perform for my wages. When work is over its party time, and from there on out everything is a blur. Eventually I wake up on my best friends kitchen floor.
Today was a day just like any other.
(yes that is the Maxium amount of characters you can fit in a BIO)

My dwarven axe wielding halfling ranger
Long before I was born my mother fell in love with a traveling adventure. From the start it was a star-crossed romance. She was a lowly elven barmaid. He was surly dwarven adventure, and it seemed that fate was always against them. Much like a flame that burn bight their love did not last long.
The only thing that dwarven adventurer left my mother was me a glaring reminder of their one and only "union" I came to these lands in search of the father I have never kown, his name is Draygore Morroth have you seen him?

Point of the story: Drunken one night stand + dwarf + Elf = Halfling
MY WF rogue
Little known fact:
Warforged are actually highly advanced battlesuits driven by halflings.

1b: but I don't heal constant stupid
2: If your not getting you backside handed to you I plan on swing a sword. If this for some reason offends you sorry.
3: I am a real person (see rule #1)
4:Tipping is a nice way to say good job, tips are welcomed but never required.

From memory:

Talonkage Moonshadow
Began life as a Rgr.
Rgr7/Rog4/Wiz5

Talon Moonshadow
Raised by wolves after his parents were slaughtered by undead (changed to vampires after "undead" became a forbidden word in a DDO bio?!)
He came to stormreach (and took up and the life of an adventurer or something)
While exploring the deepest sewers he discovered the Sensei who taught him the ways of the shadows. Adding the name Kage to his own (meaning shadow in the Sensei's native language) he founded the Knights of the Shadows (and dedicated himself to the destruction of evil...or something like that)

Blacksilk Knightgown
LG Drow Wiz16

Locked in a library at a young age to ensure her potential future use as a virgin sacrifice, she discoverd an old tome and taught herself the ways of magic. Using her nowfound powers to exscape she journeyed to Stormreach and joined the Knights of the Shadows.

Angelofmercy
Drow LG Clr 16
Found on a monestery doorstep, Angel was raised by the ruler of the nuns to respect the gods of good.
After journeying to Stormreach she joined the Knights of the Shadows as the self-tittled "Angel of Mercy" and dedicasted her life to the destruction of evil.

But my best ever was on a char I deleted. :(
Docwhite The Seventh Husband
Dwarf Clr 5

Doc and his brothers were happy in their home in the woods, until one day they were all seduced by a young princess.
Years later, after toiling in the mines day after day while the princess sat at home, singing and playing with furry animals, Doc decided that his Grumpy brother had been right all along, and set out for Stormreach to make a better life for himself.
There he joined the Knights of the Shadows and dedicated himself to the destruction of evil and cute little gold-diggers everywhere. :D

Andareth (Human Monk - but treated as a Kalashtar as the race is not currently available, hence the Kalashtar name):
Born and raised in Sarlona in a Kalashtar monastery in the mountainous region of Adar, Andareth was trained from an early age by the local Monks. Following their Path of Light tradition, he focused on the sheshan talarash dasyannah, and developed extraordinary levels of speed and dexterity in his combat prowess.

He has since travelled to the continent of Xen'drik to learn more about the past of the Quori and the wars that forever changed Eberron, and can be found frequently in the city of Stormreach. In his quest for knowledge, it is said that he has achieved speeds previously unknown to Monks, and has even mastered space and time by demonstrating the ability to instantly teleport to various locations simply by pure will.

-------

Malleris (Drow Bard):
A rogue Drow, Malleris moved to Stormreach in an attempt to learn more of the races showing interest in his continent. He uses his wit and charm to befriend friend and foe alike, playing them against eachother whenever the opportunity presents himself. When battle arises, Malleris prefers to use his Bardic abilities and spells to distract and confuse his enemies, quietly slipping away before they are aware of his presence. When cornered, however, he is equally adept at melee combat, relying on his skill with rapier and shortsword, a deadly combination the Drow of Xen'drik are famous for.

As the expansionist races move further into Xen'drik, Malleris is often nearby, watching as their clumsy explorations provide both entertainment, and an opportunity for him to procure wealth beyond his wildest imagination.

A few more of mine:

Creatina a level 12 warchanter bard:

My name is Creatina Leafletter and at last I am free. I was born into slavery in a far distant land. At an young age I was found to be an excellant singer and story teller. My owner decided to train me as a minstrel.
For the next 15 years I was traded to various lords and owners for my singing ability. Along the way I encountered a few free Bards who, in secret, taught me a thing or to about magic and fighting.
My last owner set sail for yet another unknown Kingdom when our ship was waylaid by a dragon and I found myself washed ashore the lone survivor of a doomed ship.
Using what skills I had and with a little luck I helped in freeing the island from the dragon. I was rewarded with some magic items, a little bit of knowledge and free pass to Stormreach.
Here I will make my fortune and my name. I am glad to be free at last.

Baddle Clerica level 9/1 cleric/ftr

My name is Thorn Rockcrusher. Long ago I was the son of a King. I was an up and coming star warrior in my father's elite guard. However, one day a tragic training accident changed all of that. I lost my eye to the thrown spear of my best friend. It was an accident. I thought I could go on.
However I soon learned I would never be a great warrior with only one eye. I spiraled downward. I became a drukard and a thief. I murdered my best friend in a drunken rage. My father was foreced to imprison me and execute me. I wanted to die. I was selfish. A priest of Mordain visited me in prison. He showed me the error of my past and the path to glory. Eventually I repented but still I knew I must die. On the day I was to die my friends mother forgave me and gave me pardon. I was banished until I could prove myself. I am a warrior at heart. Now I fight for my god. I have adopted the name Baddle Clerica to represent what I am. A warrior. A cleric. A Battle Cleric.

Melts level 16 warforged wizard

I do not know who created me. I was revived from stasis by an intrepid Paladin and his party during their destruction of an old foundry. His party wanted to destroy me but he took me under his protection.
Devoid of memory I knew not what to do. The Paladin recognized my superior intellect and arranged for my instruction as a mage. I spend my time adventuring to gain knowledge and power. I want to find who created me and why.
I have achieved one part of my quest. I have discovered I was the one perfect experiment of the deranged Haywire. He created me to be his new army but I was resistant to his commands. I had free will.
I have no family but I have friends. I will continue to study the arcane seeking even more heights of power. Some day I hope to find a family and a legacy. Until then I will delve the deepest dungeons seeking long forgotten secrets.

I am not from around here. Actually, I'm not even from this world.

I come from a place ruled by science, not sorcery. I was a mundane guy with a mundane job living a mundane existance.

That changed not long ago. While walking to the market, I noticed a discarded sign on the ground. It read 'Do not touch'. On impulse, I ignored the directions on the sign. As soon as my fingertips contacted the paper, I was transported away from my world.

I found myself on a ship under attack from a dragon. Before I had time to do more than gape in amazement, something fell on me, and I faded to darkness thinking I was about to die.

Somehow, I survived. I awoke on a shore. Before long, I found myself befriended by three adventurers, who gave me equipment and trained me in skills so that I would have a fighting chance to continue to live in my new home.

Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a long story...

My daddy was a Gibson, My mama was a Fender

All my characters generally are related. Whether brothers and sisters, or close cousins. All grew up in well to do homes, and were encouraged to go out and make something of themselves. They'll help each other when they can, and their famlies at home help them if needed.

I hate the typical "raised in the streets as a begger" histories.

Priam Ironsoul, Lv 12 Warforged Fighter training as a Kensei

I was built to fight in the Last War. After slaying many foes and successfully completing many missions, I and a few other so-called "elite" warforged were tasked with the defense of a powerful relic. I know not exactly what the relic is or was, I only know that it belonged to the Ironsoul Clan of dwarves. My fellow warforged and I guarded the relic for several days before an invasion of orcs overran the mines, killing all of the dwarves and most of my companions as well as stealing the Ironsoul relic. I had survived thanks to what you fleshlings call luck. Once I managed to climb back out of the shaft I had fallen down, I was forced to kill my dying warforged companions. They would not be able to survive, and I could not return them to our superiors. It was a mercy killing.

I recovered the body of our dwarf caretaker, an artificer named Priam. He had been in charge of maintaining my companions and me, and while he pretended to dislike it, we all knew he cared about us. I placed Priam in a cairn in his lab, he would've liked that I think. After searching the mine for the relic, I was forced to admit that I had failed my mission. It took me days to return to my superiors, just in time to witness the Day of Mourning and the end of the war I had been born to wage.

After gaining my freedom, I journeyed to Stormreach, where I heard that even a warforged could make a living and a name for himself. Of course, when the port agent asked me for a name, I had not one to give. I decided that I would call myself Priam Ironsoul, to forever remember my first true friend and the mission I had failed.

Now I serve Bregan D'Wintere as a soldier. My missions are no less dangerous than they had been those years ago, but I realize now that I would not have it any other way. With greatsword in hand, I will cut my way into the tales of the bards as I search for the relic. I am Priam Ironsoul.

A History of Elves in the City of Spires

This story is for all Elders who would know of their history.

Elven Lore,
By: Caimbeul Silverlance

Elven History is held deep within the darkness of history. It is said that at the dawn of time in the Old World there were 3 main humanoid races, the Caines (now called the headless) and the Mongs (now called the Mongbats). Legend has it that all 3 races existed in peace and harmony in a lush tropical forest. Another race the Orcs had barely begun to civilize and Humans were unheard of.

The Elv were Hunters, Tamers and Mages they were also very good Tailors and Cooks. An Elv named Imperious Rex (an ancient relative of today’s CaimbeulRex) led them during this wondrous time. Elv was the race of magic just as the Caines being the thinkers that they were enjoyed the sciences and The Mong’s exploration. It was the Mong’s that discovered the Snake people and later the Spider folk. The war with these two races would cost all dearly. It was war that lasted 400 yrs and when it was done the Caines had been mutated into a Headless brutal race that was born pregnant and spawn mindlessly and attacking any that are not there own. The Winged Mongs were De-evolved to a mindless brutal race of flying monkeys. And The Elves were turned into homeless nomads’ left to wander the world in search on a home. Three such Elv were named Mystic (not to be confused with Mystic One of today), Guythan (great, great, great grand father of Guybrush) and Zazaron. These 3 Elves are credited with founding the New world by following a cave beneath an ancient elven burial ground. It was these Ancient Elv that founded the city of Shar, which is legend to be buried beneath where Vesper now stands. Shar was the shinning glory of the New World and even the Elv that stayed behind now lead by The Great Iceron had heard and wrote of it. And so it was until the Humans came to that world and founded Britannia. Ratmen, Lizardmen, Dragons and the horrid elv only disease known as the Elves Bane plagued Elves at that time. The Elv and there leader the ill-fated Iriana could not hope to cope with all of this; Mortals were the final straws that forced the Elv to all but fade from existence. Mean while the Elv of the, Old world were also dealt a harsh blow for the settlement was again set upon by the Snake and Spider people only this Time the Gods themselves were involved! The Gods of Olympus aided the Mad Drakkon, 1st Emperor of the Elv in his holy war. The Titans aided the snakes and spiders. This war left the Elv in victory but also left their kingdom an empty and baron place. The once tropical forest was left a baron desert, but the Snake people were driven back forever and the spider people fled even further away. This was known as the Blighting, the war left the people with a land but no history. All knowledge of the New World was wiped from their history and the great forest Elv were now a Desert people, nomads their only minor copetion were the Mongs and the Headless that spawned around them. From this Land came CaimbeulRex and his Royal peers Oakliegh, Theone, Guybrush, and Donavon. They were all friends and Caimbeulwas Eldest in a line of Royals. It was they that found an ancient and deadly entry into to New World that lead from the desert to an Island paradise called Serpents Hold. The Older Elves went there separate ways leaving the two Younger ones (Caimbeuland Guybrush) on the Island to fend for themselves.

It was here that Caimbeul met his Cousin Elves the Mystic One, Zazar and Mulch. They were all members of a Royal house that fled the main land for Serpents Hold soon after the fall Shar. Mystic One and Zazar were reforming the Kingdom when Caimbeulmet them and shared with them the secret Elven sign of Royalty.
Upon recognition of the Sign they share the stories and legends of the Great elv in their past. They then set about with the help of Gunther, Theone and many others to re-build a Kingdom of Elves. Regal Elv were found and others as well, even a few that seemed not to truly care for the Elves and indeed in time turned out not to be Elv at all! The Elven kingdom had grown fast in a short time under them. But as the kingdom grew Mystic and Caimbeulgrew apart, as Caimbeullonged for a return to the old ways and a return to the Old Country and the Island of Serpents Hold. The Hustle, Bustle of Britinia being to much for Eros, he and a few select member of the Kingdom decided to Return the Elves to its former glory in the days of old and to go back to the old country and re-claim the kingdom as their own. These Lords of ELSe Lead by CaimbeulRex and Prince Icewalker and joined by His Fellows Shar Darkstar and Bane Resse will now venture out into the new world to set about the rebuilding of the Old Kingdom to a higher glory ever before known.

Elven Culture,

Profile: all Elves have certain natural abilities that they are born with. 1st is Magic, not all Elves are mages but all are born with the potential to be and can cast Recall almost from birth. This is an ability that they can keep or lose over time depending on what path they choose in life. 1st Recall is a major step in an Elv’s Life much like walking is a big thing for Mortals. 2nd All Elv can see in the dark well either by position are spell they can always see at night. 3rd Telepathy all Elves share a Telepathic bond with their fellows they use this power to communicate long messages or to send out a call for help or to speak with a friend far away.

Elves do not judge each other by skin color, but by Hair length instead! There are Short hairs and Long hairs and once there was great division between the two, but now days with so many other races Like the Orcs vying for power, the shorts and longs have settled most of there differences and work very well together. It is noted however that Most Longs are either Royal or hold some form of power and that most shorts do wish that they were born Longs and some wish for the hair to the point of wearing wigs.

Elves have other Skills that though not born with they are the best at due to generations of training. 1st is Smithing, Elves are almost born Smiths, and the spear is their weapon. A true Elv prefers a spear but is equally at home with a good sword. Elves are first among the archer races and are well known for their true aim and uncanny sight. Before the Blighting, Elves of the Old Country were the greatest among Bowers.

The Elven Dream Weavers are the Shaman of the Elves along with magic use these Elves are born with natural Taming or Bardic abilities It said that such Elves are revered and held in high regard for there unique abilities. They are also Healers, Trackers and Fishers. Tamers also have the special right to tame anything that they wish in the kingdom as long as they know that it must always released that which they have no use for, so that others may benefit.

The Economy:
The Elv are a proud people and rarely ask any for help (even there own!). Elven Squires are at the base of this system followed by the Warrior, Archer and Mage classes. They are the main suppliers of the secret of Elven wealth. These classes are much like farmers of the Emperors land they donate certain Items that they harvest and may keep rest. The Elven wealth comes from there Home Land, which was Re-discovered by CaimbeulRex and is now reclaimed for Elves only to wander.

Elven Laws:

#1) No Squire may ask any elder for money. Elvs are a proud people and to be an Elv is to be willing to make your own way in the world, while you are trained by your Elders and given the knowledge you need to survive in the world of UO.

#2) No Squire may speak ill to of a Founder, If a Squire and a Founder do not get along that Squire is more then welcome to leave the ELV and find a new home.

#3) Squires have first right to the Land that they Harvest. Squires are held above all in there right to harvest elven land so that they may earn a living and grow strong. Any elder that is harvesting in the Old Country when a Squire arrives must give monster kill rights to the squire and go to animal Harvesting if that elder so wishes.

#4) Do as thou wilt but harm not another Elv nor bare false witness against a Founder. That be the whole of the word and the Law.

#5) Defending the Royal Jewels (AKA the Family Jewels). He who holds the jewels holds the heart of the realm. This collection of rare gems and jewelry has been held buy Royalty for centuries and may be added to by any true ELV or Elven friend. The Jewels are only to be turned to cash in case of an emergency or in case of war. If stolen they must be gotten back at any cost.

#6) There are many birds in the Kingdom so shot not the Eagle as this is there haven also and are the Royal Bird of the ELV. Also kill not the Ostard or Llama as they are rideable and of special user to the Tamers in the Kingdom.

Types of Elves:

Advisors:
Little is known of these mysterious Guild members, but it is known that they hold tremendous power in the guild. They answer only to the Royal that they have been appointed to serve and may do as they wish when is comes to helping the guild out. They have first ear of the royal that they serve and advise there Royal in all matters that come to a vote in the council. Although they have not a formal seat on the council, nor an actual vote in the council chambers, they my attend a Council meeting when ever they wish and may vote in the Royals place if the royal be not present to do so. It is also rumored that a Royal and his Advisor must be in total agreement before the Royal may vote in counsel.

Counsel of Lords:
All that bare the title of Lord have a seat on the High Counsel and a Vote in all matters affecting the state of the Kingdom. Lords also command a group of elv under them. They may suggest ranks, titles and promotions of worthy ELV that server under their title. Also only Lords and above can recruit new members into the guild.

Founders:
This group represents the secret power behind the Emperor’s Throne. Founders all have positions of power in the guild and may be an Advisor a Lord or even a Royal! You just never know! But the Founders accepted their place in the guild long b4 any knew of it. The also gave of themselves to help build the first guild house in the new world. Because of this a founder does not have to donate to the guild fund and may also have a vendor in the guild house.

Elders: an Elder is ANY Elv that is not a Squire or Elven in title, they are the subjects of the kingdom and may do as they wish. Most Elders serve under a Lord and fight as part as that Lords team. Elders must donate what they can, to the guild fund. They may harvest the land as often as they wish or lead hunting parties to the edge of the kingdom to hunt more dangerous game. They up hold the honor of the guild.

Squires: These are those who would be Elves, They harvest the land for the Emperor and they accept training from their brother Elves. Squires are newbies and as such may hunt the Morgs, the Headless and any animals that spawn in the homeland. They may keep anything that they kill but they must donate all empty bags and empty bottles that they find do the guild, they must also give any exposition potions that they find. If they wish to donate gems they find to the Royal Treasury they may do so and receive notary for such a noble selfless deed. Arrows found may be donated or kept by the Squire the same goes for Hides. But animals that give meat and Hides must always be skinned, as some Elv will always be able to use them.

Honric Argent, cleric of Chippendale, the Chair God. (Cleric/Monk)

In the village of Melkot, Honric Argent was once a simple chairmaker. He lived a peaceful existence alone in his shop.

In the year Honric turned 52, an orcish tribe attacked the village, plundering all they could find. In the battle, one orc smashed Honric over the head with a warhammer, leaving him bleeding to death on the floor of his workshop. The battle went on, and Melkot's militia repelled the orcs, saving the village.

On the floor of his shop, Honric was suffering from a massive headwound when a vision came to him. A floating jeweled throne appeared before him, emanating a natural aura of comfort, peace, and good. The throne spoke with a voice that seemed to come from all around Honric. It said it was Chippendale, the God of Chairs, the Seat of Power. It had chosen Honric as its divine champion. Wielding a broken chair leg as a club, Honric went out into the world to spread the Good Word.

It is likely that there was no such god at the time of Honric's hallucination, but by sheer force of his prophet's will, Chippendale soon gained enough power to grant Honric spell slots. Augmenting his physical abilities with divine magic, the quixotic old man journeyed throughout Eberron, spreading word of the Chair God and fighting evil wherever he found it (usually against tavern brawls and petty thievery). Honric gained a friend in a local wizard prodigy named Saancho Hidalgo, who had been trained by a local city gang. Together, they teamed up to take the gang down. Finding they worked well as a team, they decided to adventure together in order to cover travel expenses.

Since then, Honric and Saancho continued to quest, and by fighting in his name, have raised Chippendale up to lesser diety status. On his deathbed within the halls of his church, the Cathedral, Honric was visited once again by the Chairlord, now visible for all around him to see. His magic had grown strong enough to allow Honric to live on, as his immortal prophet. Unfortunately, the relatively inexperienced god reincarnated Honric with all his divine magic depleted, with all the techniques of magic burned out of his memories.

And so his adventures must go on...

My Character Is currently a level 3 Ranger.

She is for me an experiment into the imagination. She is my first character and I have decided to play permadeath in time I will find a guild, or create my own. I believe that Iliumon's fate will lead her to create a guild centered religion for the characters of this world.

This development and growth will be done through her Journal, which will be posted to my account here on the blog. If this experiment sounds interesting at all to you, I highly recommend you take a moment to check it out! Just head to my profile page. You will find her quite philosophical Here is her current bio:

Iliumon Shendonomon 998 YK

I awoke on a beach in a strange land.

I have no memory of where I have been before, but though I recognize nothing - this world, these people seem familiar; like the long faded memory of a dream. Perhaps this land is not strange to me at all. . .
I currently am on a quest to discover who I am, and what this place is. Why this sense of familiarity?
This world is dangerous - plagued by monsters and criminals of seemingly endless supply and some of unimaginable terror. But this world also has a great deal of beauty, both external and intrinsic. There is a history here and magic is abundant. Good deeds are respected by most and helping others pays, even in a physical sense. All that I have helped have been happy to help me in return - sharing with me information, food, shelter and equipment. I feel called to help, but I do not know what force drives me

I am finding that I have some deal of talent with a bow and with more agile weaponry. When I try to be quiet and unseen I am usually successful. I have some sense that allows me to detect danger and hidden things.
Because of these talents I have been advised by the trainers of this world to follow the path of the ranger and I meet often with the trainer, who imparts some knowledge and skills to me and helps me to further develop myself through my experiences. I think after I have come to understand more about this world I may blaze my own path. One that will help me to further my development on a personal level and help me discover my lost past.

Clearly I must be descendant of elves, given my appearance, but I have spoken to many in the area and none know of me. Where did I come from?

he was a fighter, he looted.
He died and was reborn.
Now he is a tank.
He still loots.

His favorite past times seem to be jumping around like crazy in the taverns.
Loves floating down off high cliffs.
Tumble seems to make the dreary walk forward palatable.
Deep his is passion for practice swinging in populated areas for minutes at a time.

he still loots, but can never find what he is looking for.
