Hi, I am resubscribing to DDO after a few years. I have already installed it on my desktop using the free trial I downloaded. I tried to install the original CD that it came with but the patches would have taken forever. Is there any quick way to download it and put it on my laptop? Like I said I have a hard copy of the game but it will take forever for all the patches to apply. This is for the retail game, not the beta.

I'm trying to find the link :) There is one that has the updates upto Mod. 8 I believe.

Standard Resolution (http://download.ddo.level3.turbine.com/largecontent/ddo/mod8/downloader/live/standardres/DDO-US-Mod8-Downloader-StandardRes.exe) or High Resolution (http://download.ddo.level3.turbine.com/largecontent/ddo/mod8/downloader/live/highres/DDO-US-Mod8-Downloader-HighRes.exe)

If you mean that you already have the files on one computer and want to put them on another, then you should be able to copy the install files from one machine to the other. You had to specify a folder when you ran the downloader on the first machine. Unless you deleted them manually, the setup files should still be in that folder. It should be a bunch of files named dndsetup-X.bin and one file named dndsetup.exe.
