so i have a wf bard, and I am working on making him more sp self sufficient, but it is not working as well as I had hoped.

I picked up empower healing, and greater devotion 4 ring, 4 tiers of bard healing enhancements, and healer`s friend

I still need leviks bracers for 20% more,

So that gives me
empower healing- 50%
greater devotion 4- 40%
bard healing 4- 40%
healer`s friend- 15%
wf healing penalty- -50%

So my spells should be amplified by 95%, meaning multiplying my base by 1.95

cure critical wounds is currently 4d8 + 14 (14 lvls of bard)

which means a base of 22 to 46, and an average of 34

which means my spells should be going off for 43 to 90, with an average of 66

The problem is i have only seen my spells go off between 55 and 65

This could be a possibility that i have never gotten a roll above average, or that I am missing something in my calculations.

Does anyone see a flaw, possibly that the wf penalty doesnt work like a normal bonus?

Empower, Devotion and Bard healing are additive(1+.5+.4+.4=2.3) multiplied by your spell (46*2.3 = 105) multiplied by your effective healing((.5+.15)*105 = 68

edit: At least I think that's how it is supposed to work.

I believe the human enhancements are additive, the gear is multiplicative.

Leviks = Amplificaiton.

Healing amplication bonus scales based on your innate healing penalty.

Innate = 50% on a WF, so 20% amp = only 10% for a WF,

Total = 60.

If you have healers friend +15%, 65% innate.. so Leviks is more like 12-13%

Docent of Blood and Finger necklace both raise your innate healing like healers friend tho.

So
50 base
15 healer friend
10 docent of blood
10 finger
= 85% base
+20 amp = get only ~15%
= 100%
Thats my setup anyways. In actaul testing I get like 101-102% tho, due to wierdness with the finger necklace.

It is because you are incorrect in your Amplification theory.
As far as I know this is how it works:

50 base
15 healer friend
10 docent of blood
10 finger
= 85% base
+20% amp = 0,85*1,2
= 102%

In short; amplification multiplies with the base, not enumerate. I.e, remove finger and throw in another 30% amp and you'd get
0,75*1,2*1,3
= 117%

Well explain why I get 101% sometimes then. Or even 99%, or 100%. What I get depends on the order of when I equip the finger necklace. Earlier the higher.

Here's an explanation.

When it is equipped BEFORE putting on Healing Amplification items, the amount healed increases because the Healing Amplification boosts the bonus from the Finger Necklace. For example, wearing the Finger Necklace first and then putting on all 3 items generated a Heal of 110*1.1*1.2*1.3 + 11*1.1*1.2*1.3.
