OK OK, you all have harrassed me enough! Here ya go. My First official Favored Soul Build! This will be primarily a SOloist build but with spell selections that will allow me to heal efficiently while grouped.
This will be my first new character as soon as DDO:U Goes live. A Blade Barrier fanatic, with Evasion with solid saves and Hit points to back it all up.

why LN instead of LG?

cause LG sucks as you get dmg from all those unholy/pure evil weapons while beeing LN you dont

Thats one reason for sure. Other Reason is "Taint of Evil" items. If your "Good" You take a negative level. Litany of the Dead Trinket being the big one.

If I go Concentration and UMD on my skills, the 20 UMD needed for Pure Good Weapons should be pretty easy to obtain.

Sorc and FvS double SP is a percentage of class levels. Thus splashing 2 monk will only get you +190%, not the full 200% increase. 360 SP for Archmagi, 270 for Tier 2 & 3 shroud craft SP.

Since FvS base SP is so much higher than cleric and getting +190% SP from SP items, couldn't you lower CHA to minimum required to cast? 12, or even base 10 if unbound +3 tomes become common will get you the 19 easily to cast 9th lvl spells.

Also concern is reflex save high enough with base starting dex of 8? I'm looking at Monastery which trap DCs on normal hovering around 40. New content will only see that higher.

On the other hand if its only against mob spellcasters its probably plenty high enough, but you did mention it was mainly for soloing so you'll have to run and heal through the traps.

Its possible to start lower, but Disjunction is a concern. with a 14 Base, I have a very realistic chance to get to a 19CHR without any "Magic items". and currently my ability to cast Blase Barrier and Destruct would be uneffected by being Disjunctioned.

31+ Reflex Plus 500+ Hit points should be fine. I havent maxed out all Save possibilities either.

Good point about disjunction - I'll have to readjust my planned FvS build accordingly.

I still feel the reflex save is a bit too low for comfort. Lvl 16 with 32 reflex (34 vs traps) and 400 hp I find those monastery traps do a number on you real quick with only a couple of bad rolls. Lvl 20 with less reflex save? It might be something worth working on.

Well thought out build, and I will probably roll one similar as my FvS offensive caster, right after my TWF Soul Fighter (not as nifty sounding as fleric, fo' sho')

I go through and/or around those traps all the time on my clerics who dont have evasion with a much lower reflex save (14 is high on my clerics) A Few point sin Jump and a little timing and y ou never even have to get hit.

Hello ocean stance, nice to meet you!
+2 saves, +2 wisdom. Swap to deity weapons when in melee.

Option of removing 2nd toughness, putting lightning reflexes in its place(Monk level2), removing gsf evocation or empower, and getting both spell pens. Becoming 2 spell pen off a normal caster.

Me, too.

I can get through traps if I concentrate and have time, like solo or trying to just get by a trap in a casual group. I know tricks like jump buff and hopping over and I have the basic platformer skills to do that sort of thing, but some of these guys can run up right through crazy traps like they're not even there and then run right back through after pulling or flipping a lever or whatever. If it means I'm a poor player in that regard then it is what it is, but I just can't ignore traps like some people.

The only thing I hate more then seeing someone just breeze through traps over and over without even stopping, is seeing someone PRETEND they're that good and die all the time or even worse you see the little blue evasion save dice going crazy over their head while they 'act' like they're jumping or dodging around. Then they always act swift when they make it through one as if it's normal for them.
