The Valhalla Permadeath Guild http://valhallapdguild.proboards.com/index.cgi?/ is preparing about 20 characters (about 8 to 10 people) for a raid on Tempest Spine and then Von's in August.
Our guild is a perma death guild - no use of rez shrines and we do not use the AH, Brokers, or buy consumable magic. We have been running mid level content for some time and welcome fellow Ghallandans who may wish to attempt to run the lower level raids with us. Since our guild members do not PUG you would have to enroll in the guild and live to get to the appropriate level.
Oh yeah, we don't usually run full groups either and plan on going to the mountain with about six to eight toons none of whom will be over level ten.
If you think this is a challenge you want to partake in, send me a message here, in game or through our website.
I hope some of you choose to run with us!

So if 1 person charges the dragon in Von 6 does that mean your entire guild gets deleted when you all get blown off or eaten?

Fluffy - I sincerely extend a welcome for you to find this out first hand.
I invite you to enroll in our guild, and get to lvl 9 or so by end of August or September playing in our groups- and then participate and find out how we handle Velah.

I know it will be a challenge. Since I have only played a PD style of play for nearly the past two years I don't always get to run the higher end content. I have run Tempest Spine only in Permadeath Groups, and every time has been with The Sublime Guild on Thelanis. Typically there were about 8 to 12 in the raid and their guild bylaws are less restrictive with gear as they allow the AH and Brokers etc. So their party might have been stronger. I suspect that this run will take quite awhile. I have been storing anything that I felt could have been useful in my bank slot for a long while to help myself and others.
I think that as long as the group goes slowly we'll be fine.
Regarding Von's I am confident that we can also do this quest - although the last part will be tricky. For each to simulate the knowledge I'm trying to organize advanced parties to go through as much of the quest as possible without necesarily completing them, but to gather intell :)
It will certainly be interesting. I may have to figure out someway to record the event or parts of it.

fraps if your rig can handle it - then you can use stock video editing to splice it together. I look forward to the run on Vons and the dragon herself - hopefully I make it that far and if not just sing me a grand song...:D
It will take some drive space so be ready for it. ;)
There is a fine line between bravvery and stupidity...
I should be ready for the challenge and if not I'll definately be ready for the next one...;)

Tempests Spine should be a great fun run in PD, but I'd advise against even trying VON6 if you have a no-spoiler rule like many PD guilds. The Velah encounter is designed to wipe any and all parties that do not know what to do - I don't think a group of twelve well-geared level 16s could do it on Normal without prior knowledge of key encounter mechanics.
