+10 seeker price check

Hi. I'm fairly new to the game. I pulled a +1 Seeker Bastard Sword of Shattermantle, with a +10 Seeker enhancement.

I know the +1 enhancement is extremely common, and I don't think the Shattermantle is anything special, but isn't the +10 Seeker pretty good? I just looked in the auction house, and most Seeker items were +2 and +3.

So, can I have your opinion as to its value?

Shattermantle reduces the spell resistance on an enemy by 3 i think for a few seconds. Its an under used tool that sorc compensate for by putting feats into spell pen and getting items to help as well. Support characters should have at least 1.

+10 seeker is valuable if you have a good cit weapon in your other hand like a dwarven axe (for the x3 multiplier which means +30 pod) or a scimitar (which crits often) Only really valuable in the hands of a barb Id say but even still the fact that the only dps this weapon contributes is when it crits kinda makes it fall flat in the face of say a +3 holy burst or any kind of burst weapon.

Max value in my opinion is 10k plat to someone is really looking for one. There will be few customers tho.

I think its vendor trash sorry OP. Seeker +10 is ideal on a kukri or other light weapon or on a popular paired TWF DPS weapon like a khopesh, rapier or dorf axe. And then, only when you don't have a second GS weap or a bloodstone.

On a bastard sword, a toon would need to have bastard sword prof AND Oversize TWF. I wouldn't hold your breath.

+1 rapier seeker +10 of greater giant bane rr dwarf

great weapon but I only use it vs giants and I pair it with a dwarven axe or +1 thundering warhammer of weighted 5%. great results either way.
